Realistic Gunplay - Enlisted as an interactive digital gun museum

Currently the only thing that can “rule” mid-long range in this manner is a tank.
And theres max 2 of them per game, with your suggestion we’re looking at 2 tanks and ~24 ? Lmg’s.

Oh dosh, silly me. Why I just didnt think of this while trying to cross 100m of “open ground” under LMG fire.

Well in that case as I totally forgot defenders dont have those planes & tanks.

Okay, theoreticly we’re all now blind beyond 50m.
Which one is more effective in this scenario a lmg with 900 rof or ba with 60 rof ?

They will be, you’ll just need more time to aim.

Because we are playing 1 scenario - point assault. Otherwise it would be boring pew-pew, you’re dead from 200m.

That’s bad map design, in Moscow, for example, there are cover everywhere

He will me aiming much slower than you, he wont be able to control his recoil while aiming, and in hipfire he will have poor accuracy because of recoil.
And in 20m grenade is always an option.

Sawmill map, the monastery ? and probably many others I cant remember. Those 2 especiatly have atleast 2 lines where you have practically no cover at all.

So the bipod as well now has poor accuracy ?

Like you ever even got that close with OHK lmgs.

And lets just pretend that theoreticly in current situation, you have 2 tanks ( camppers ) and 8 cqc players.
Now as said in certain situations you would require a sniper to take out LMG that is atleast 1 cqc player again doing everything else than CQC.

So your conclusion of this actually increasing CQC just doesnt make sense.
At all.

Enlisted has magic ability to make maps appear large while in reality people camp at great distances of 50m…

Imagine being so naive thinking devs would reworked things like that. It would completely redesigned whole gameplay. It would be better to make completely new game.

I think casuals would be very disgusted by this change. Devs really shouldn’t made such a important changes because of few trolls on forum.

None of this is needed if the both-side combat zone is still 50m on almost all map

Lots and lots of place to maneuver, rushing mg straight ahead is stoopid and shouldn’t be an option.

He or cant turn quick when bipoded, or cant shoot accurately from the shoulder

Again, lack of cover is a bad mapdesign, but I haven’t seen it in Enlisted

Oh yes, theres plenty of logs in that river.
And in monastery where ur supposed to attack that monastery I think theres halfway of that “hill” a single cart.

All those options.

Why would he need to turn when your attacking from bottle neck ?

We clearly play different game then.

Maybe better to improve from mechanics side, such as give higher XP for capturing or defending than killing, and maybe increase size of map and objective (this point need further discussion and testing, maybe as an option only).

Many people, many times in the past suggested to make playable areas and capture zones bigger.
And yeah, devs don’t care.

Would you be surprised if I’ll say that bottleneck map is also a bad mapdesign?
And again, everyone has grenade (if we’re talking about indoor fight).

So revamp all maps so this idea of yours could be implemented ? Sounds reasonable.

Sure if you ever get to throw one.
Since defenders definitely dont have them.

As I know, Enlisted have huge connected map on Moscow, Normandy and Tunisia, so that should not be difficult.

As I said, in Moscow all maps are fine, maybe decreasing greyzone would be cool on some of them.
But I guess , youre talking about Stalingrad or Berling, in this case, I dont know what to suggest, because I hadn’t played then.

In grenade fight what op role low-mobility MGnner plays?

It is difficult. Not because of technical issues but because devs don’t want to to this.

Yeah, like the examples I gave from moscow.

Yes for that exact reason I mentioned 2 moscow maps.

You kinda fail to answer to question as I never mentioned CQC as problem.

But since this seems to be quite futile conversation il just leave it here.

ngl when keo said that “this game is starting to live” i thought about this particular thing, i mean, if you play winter war on customs you realize that it’s working, no fps drops or anything, it’s just about more players get in there, and with merging campaigns altogether it would be even more possible to do. If they’re ever about to do this, this is the ultimate time.

Finger crossed on this one.

you could do big big servers up to 100 players that could join in and out like true MMO game would be like. No more deserts, no more lack of players. Paradise.

Played Winter War for the first time the other day. Even wrote in game chat that it is the way Enlisted is meant to be played.

Had some massive firefights between the objectives

I agree, had some too, and the slower pace suited me insanely well.
I wish enlisted could at least provide this type of game available more, bcs winter war is often an empty server, also, objectives are kinda weird, it looks like modders dosen’t have enough tools to make gameplay even more cool.
