I own a LAD and I really try to enjoy it, but somehow it always feels somewhat… underwhelming.

It is definitely on the “good” side of the spectrum, but it doesn’t really feel OP to me. The combination of ROF and accuracy makes me feel its TTK is higher than PPSH or other Russian SMGs.

Yeah, that’s understandable.

“steal” is not a good term for it since they were captured from enemies in war.
Germans captured them in hundred of thousands thus it became the most numerous SMG of the Wehrmacht after the Mp40. It was used because it was available not because it was a great weapon, any SMG is better than a bolt-action when the fight gets too close.

But the Finish Soumi KP-31 is still better in all aspects, except cost. Ppsh41 is an unpretending gun most ideal for unpretending people.
