Then you are probably in the minority. A single ingame item being sold for the price of a full game is never justified.
If you’re going to quote me, at least quote the entire sentence. I said $45 for a tank that would be playable across campaigns in the same faction would be justified.
If you’re unable to spend money on the game, it’s not a requirement. Besides, in my honest opinion, if $45 for a tank that helps you progress across multiple campaigns is too much for you, then I would suggest playing less video games and focusing more on your life because clearly you got money issues to solve.
It is not about, is it too much for someone.
It is simply not worth it.
Let’s say you are at the airport. You can buy a bottle of water for 50 Bucks, oh wait I give you 50% discount so 25 Bucks…
Then it will help you too wait. It makes your stay more comfortable, but it is still not worth it.
You could even go further and feel robbed.
And before we talk about “supporting a game”. What does the game to support you? A hell of a grind? Fun behind a paywall?
Nice try troll. Are we making assumptions about each other’s finances now? OK then, maybe you should stop buying overpriced items in video games and focus on getting out of your rented apartment first.
I agree with you, that this tank is definitely not worth $45. This is what the topic is about.
It’s a lazy copy of an existing tank that players unlock at lvl 15.
Now I mentioned my criteria of what I would consider “worth $45”. For example the Sherman Firefly, I see it being worth $45 as long as if they made it playable across all UK / US factions.
Everyone has their own idea of what something digital is worth. There’s an NFT of a badly drawn cartoon, CryptoPunk #9998, that sold for half a billion dollars. I would also say that’s not worth it.
