50mm and 70mm has very big difference
70mm armour can do much better than 50mm against Russian 76mm L-11. with angling armour by rotating the hull, that makes you can take 1~ 2 more shots at least from the T-34. that’s a great chance for Pz.3, at least it could counter the T34 a bit.

I have used this T-34 in Stalingrad even though I used the STZ version more later on. Tanks don’t dictate the whole match alone as they don’t control the battle much when the infantry are played by shit players who don’t play the objective and just camp on a building like trying hard to be Vasily Zaytsyev or playing Team Deathmatch even if someone has better vehicles like KV-1.
I know Panzer IVs get one shotted by T-34-85s in Berlin(I often get shot at the turret or the turret ring in my T-34-85 by some sneaky Panzer IV that me and my teammates failed to spot) but atleast they are not as hard to kill as Jumbos in Normandy but remember the best thing the Germans had against Jumbos was the Panzer IV before Panther and Tiger got added later on. There was the Grant in Tunisia too then the Sherman.
Finally Soviets get a proper medium tank in Moscow to get rid of that pseudo heavy tank T-28 and the T-50 even though this T-34 wasn’t the 1941 model with the better gun. I wish Moscow have more maps like Fortified District or Oasis from Tunisia with some long range tank play despite me getting used to using tanks in an urban setting in Berlin.
Note: I have Tiger E in Normandy and Panzer IV F2 in Tunisia. Aiming on the Jumbo’s MG port especially at long range is tricky even with the 88mm.

just face the FACT. T-34 1940 outperforms Pz.3J in every characteristics. It’s much better in gun, AT ability, Anti-Infantry ability, armour, and even manoeuvrability.
