PvE mode - [Hold the Line] - Possible introduction of Finland 🖸 and the Winter War

In war thunder they managed to create such a mode. The planes and tanks work and are quite a nice challenge when attacking. Infantry is already able to attack, so I don’t see a problem. It’s probably just a matter of time

That’s actually good news, means the game mode would be possible down the road!

This looks like a really nice and well thought-out idea, though I have no idea how likely something like this is to be added to the game. If it adds more queues (in this case, a PvE queue) then it’s already extremely unlikely, sadly, as the whole point of the merge was to reduce queues. Many players would indeed prefer to just play this mode only, as well, reducing the playerbase further. It also sounds like it would be extremely different from the main multiplayer game, which can have negatives as well as benefits when players move between each mode. It sounds much slower-paced, and therefore players may get scared going towards the much faster-paced gameplay of the main game.

All in all, it’s a nice “practice mode” type idea, but do I think it’s the direction the devs plan to go? I’m unsure

Frankly speaking, old Enlisted had a lot more bot matches than current Enlisted, I do not see bots often if at all, especially in peak hours, the devs could add more queues without issue, plus! If it is such a problem, you could instead remove BR from the gamemode and make it an exclusive one queue mode with set equipment. Playing this mode solo would not be easy or rewarding, in fact it shouldn’t be possible to play it solo, it is a team mode after all (if your team quits, you’re boned, unless hotjoining is allowed), hence, it is a party oriented game mode, and if there is still concerns about it, limit the amount of times it can be played either by special tickets or times per 24 hours.
