PvE mode, a way to introduce good old campaign system and historical accuracy without the need to worry about Balance

To begin with the topic I need to say that I honestly always disliked competitive multiplayer games the only reason for me to play those is an interesting setting, and a way to try out interesting armaments.
The reason I was playing TF2, Battlefield 1 or CoD Cold War. Well Enlisted is one of these games.

So the thing is, there is not much for me to do here now, and I barely can feel what I felt not so long ago when playing it. And adding low BR Berlin makes it apparent that this game becomes just another WT.
I already finished every tech tree except for German tank line and already upgraded all of the needed squads to the max.
I believe that a PvE mode would allow the game to explore further into many interesting World War 2 things that would never be introduced for PvP Enlisted

1.Campaigns:
PvE mode would allow to introduce campaigns that wouldn’t ever be made for standard PvP Enlisted with their own tech trees and separated nations.
Lets take for example a 1939 Poland campaign, where you could play either as Poland, Germany or the Soviets depending on choice. Introduction of Poland would also allow for Warsaw Uprising or an interesting addition of troops for Norway, North Africa and Italian campaign for example.
Same goes for France, that fought in Norway and took part in North Africa and Normandy as well.
So thinking about the possibilities, with introduction of new nations, new campaigns could be made like: Finnish Winter War, Battle for Norway, Allied Invasion of Iran, Italy, China… The list can go on.

The reason to separate Nations from their multiplayer counterpart factions would be just to add more flexibility when it comes to possible missions.
Because for example in some campaigns you could play as Italians axis and then against the Germans. Or as Brits before Americans even joined the war. I also believe that because of the much lower amount of players that is needed for one game, it could be possible to pick where you want to play as it was before. And perhaps it could be possible to introduce deployment of your own squads that would be controlled by AI and your commands, so you while playing with one squad, you could see your other squads fighting alongside you. Battles still could be big without the need to have many players there.

2.Modes:
Inspiration can be taken from two recent zombie events. One mode could be about defense and holding the line, and another about attacking specific points. I believe there could be two versions of it, like big battle and small skirmish. So you either could play as a single “hero” taken from the top most soldier of certain squad or have all the squads to choose from as it is normally. Tanks and Planes could also be used, but only for obtaining certain amount of points I believe. But planes should have a limited time of use. There could be also a mode for people that would like to play PvE without the need to grind it all with bad guns, where instead of having prepared squads, you would play as basic stock soldiers and buy upgrades and guns on the go, just like in that one trench zombie event.

3.One single shared tech tree:
To avoid unlocking those same guns over and over again for different factions, weapons themselves will be tied to specific nations. So lets say, after unlocking a Thompson, almost all Allied nations will have access to it.
But what about captured/lend lease weapons? - Well, as one of the rewards there could be a card that would allow you to take one single gun from enemy nations tech tree for you to use. Or in case of USSR, they could also receive a random Western Allies armament that was lend leased to them.

4.GO, Event and Premium items/squads:
Because I doubt that there will be any events for PvE mode, I believe an interesting solution could be to introduce a gold order alike card that would allow you to obtain one of the unique weapons/squads from your inventory in the PvP mode.
Why from inventory? Reason being that it will always grant you an opportunity to bring your good old favorite armaments into the PvE, and will allow to do so with future events (copy paste ofc, it shouldnt be removed from PvP inventory)

But what about not historically accurate guns?
Here Im not so sure what to say, Im thinking that if someone wants to roleplay as a cowboy with his Henry rifle he should be allowed to do so, after all it will be the surroundings that will make the game fell authentic, and players could have some liberty when it comes to unique interesting weapons that weren’t ever used

5.Historical accuracy, and Balance issues:
Because you will only be fighting against bots, it would allow for the gear to not be balanced 1:1 so that with time enemies could be more challenging.
Lets take for example Tunisian Tigers, where instead of being a balance issue, they would become rather kind of a cool boss fight. It will be your gear that would allow you to proceed further with waves of stronger enemies. No BR system here, just the accurate equipment.

Enemy bots also could use the stuff that is currently paywalled, like one of the most historically produced ww2 tanks as it is with Japan for example.
Their uniforms also could be more accurate to the classes and time periods (No more machine gunner pouches on a rifleman etc)

And because its PvE, said mode will also allow to fight on night maps, or with extreme weather conditions without the need to worry that another side will cheat with night vision or anything.

That will be all for now I think, let me know what you think about it and feel free to ask anything because Im sure that I forgot to mention something.

op is asking for a lot considering most of the devs are busy with active matter and enlisted is kinda being run by a skeleton crew

tried many times, Invasion is really fun there, but it can be expanded upon

No one said everything has to be done ASAP, its more of an idea that could be expanded upon with time. Beginnings can be humble, it doesn’t have to be as polished with all of its modes and nations at first. But if they would like to make HA wanting and old campaign system fans happy I believe this would be the most efficient way.
It could also bring back the players that left after the merge.
So at first this mode could offer a very standard experience, it would take as much of effort as any kind of an event where you have a separate game mode
