Could just have a minigame, where at the end of the round (some games have a breif replay of epic moment), All the quitters/deserters are lined up (just a strawman) for their team mates to firing squad their ass 
punish people that dont bring an engineer in their squads
punish people that dont build rallys
punish people that dont fortify defense points
only then go after quitters

There needs to be some sort of punishment for players who quit mid game , are away from keyboard and who refuse to learn how to play: example refusing to mark targets , running directly into gun fire etc. People like that completely ruin matches and ruin the experience. Maybe they could start matchmaking based on rank or game experience. I’m not sure what the best solution is but I wish the developers would address the issue as it is so bad at times it makes me not want to play at all!
This would be awesome…spawn them in front of a firing squad the next time they attempt to join a match as well as deduct rank and experience points. Repeat offenders should be banned from the game for set time periods
