Hi, everyone,
would like to hear from you how satisfied you are with the progression system.
I personally find the progress just too slow even though I use premium.
Especially in Berlin on the axis side, I’m always in 1st or 2nd place, but most of the time the games are lost and 10-20k remain.
On average it will be around 12-15k with a WR of 47%.
From level 14 it will be tough.
That’s just no fun, especially since I’m already paying for premium anyway.
But I also have to say that I notice this the most in Berlin and on the part of the axen.
Normandy wasn’t that conspicuous and I’m at max level with both factions.
Salingrad, but it’s a speed run, but that’s exactly why it’s entertaining, always something new.
Allies in Berlin also went quite well.
But I think the progress should generally be higher.
don’t want to know how it must be for FtP players.
What do you think about the progression in Enlisted in general?
(except Stalingrad)
I like Stalingrad’s business model. It makes grinding much faster and allows me to use toys I wouldn’t get otherwise. I may post here often, but I don’t have as much time to PLAY the game as I’d want, and grinding is indeed time consuming…
What would make it easier to bear is a better bronze income, so that at least it would be fine upgrading mid lvl weaponry instead saving up for those ludicrous costs…
I’m also a family man and don’t have so much time to play.
That’s why I’ve had Premium since day one, and I also think developers should be paid for their work.
But even with premium and really good games it’s quite slow and then there’s the fact that you sometimes need 300-400k experience, because there are 2 or 3 levels in between that you just don’t need.
Perhaps the developers should think about booster to be able to start earn and XP Events.
Double XP for the first games ever campaign and faction should also into play for the people who just do not play 10 a day have time.
Besides that the actual progress system is a bit boring and doesnt encourage players to continue (specially copy and paste weapons but yes some weapons are just iconic), I think that the XP progress is ok. I do between 20-40k per match. I have premium, use some but less premium squads (I dont like the fact that premiums cant be handled like f2p squads or they are simply too expensive).
For someone who started just now, it is absolutely terrible to grind the levels if we talk about all campaigns at once. I would suggest to offer special bundles for newcomers:
For a certain amount of money (I dont speak about a specific sum but I would suggest 20-40 bucks) you would get the same x4 bonus as in stalingrad for all campaigns but just for the levels currently available. Once you maxed out a campaign or a faction in it, it will disappear. Like that you are absolutely able to grind fast, level squads faster and get acceptable gear quick.
I have everything with all factions in HnG because I play it since it was a browser game with weapon specific soldiers. However, the grind in the game is the reason why no one continues to play it once its found in Steam or Epic. The prices for certain guns is just too high.
Agree, still I find their concept of grind interesting (apart from their xp requirements and the gold prices), similiar to the grindsystem of WT.
By that, they could also add bikes etc. to other campaigns with some kind of tech tree instead of a campaign level system.
H&G.
You can laugh, but I had fun with this game. What I miss from it in Enlisted are vehicles. Maybe it was arcadeish, but driving stuff in H&G was extremely fun. Looking like a Soviet thug driving the aa milk truck around, simply trying to ram things with, was priceless…
The good side of the H&G vehicles being arcadeish was that you couldn’t ohk them (in most versions on the game). Thanks to that, I could RP a panzergren and actually protect my tanker friend from the enemy AT infantry or repair him in the tank vs tank combat.
It’s fine if the gear you’ll unlock later is just an addition to your arsenal.
It’s a pain if you’re seeking gear very far in the progression such as panzerfaust in Normandy because jumbo is unstoppable with engineer AT and sturmpistole
once you got every campaign maxed, its just a matr of playing 1/2 weeks to level all campaigns again (3 or 4 extra levels they deliver) on every side and play the game as you please for the rest of bp duration.
i m OK with the current grind. xp per time isnt an issue for me but i see how it can bother most of players.
No I don’t think so, the grind is far too long, especially if I’m paying for premium anyway.
Your assumption certainly doesn’t apply to FtP players. Some people also have families and a life.
The grind for HnG didn’t feel bad, but I just quit because they weren’t going to add the British. I’m also sad at the lack of British Squads in the Normandy campaign too.
