Is this a bug?
I went back to the game again 2 months ago after not playing for more than a year. I noticed that the default uniforms of my favorite premium squad, Suomi KP-31 squad, is not consistent in all maps-- they just look like regular German soldiers in other maps except for Stalingrad and Tunisia.
I really like their weapon and default look that’s why I bought them. I’m disappointed that they don’t retain their default uniform in other maps considering that they are a premium squad and quite a famous unit.
I checked my other premium and event squads (StG 45M, Kiraly 43M, TZ-45, Horn StG) and they all retained their default uniforms across all maps.
I hope this is just a bug and hopefully will get fixed.
No, it is not. It is intended. Customization for this squad was improved in one of the previous updates.

Id like darkflow to ask any owner of the premium if it is so… i can guarantee you they will say no.
Would blend in with the walls of the french buildings way more than the feldgreu they got in replacement
And if it was historical accuracy reasons that went out the window with the merge.

Well, I was being sarcastic.
Anyway, that wasn’t the point. The point is that it’s not a bug. But that it was their decision.
Of all the premium squads, they chose this?! My beloved Suomi KP/-31 squad? How dare they! If they there’s any squad that needs a uniform update it should be the StG 45M squad. Dudes look like wearing hi-vis vest
