No, if you need Cold War era stuff to do good then that sounds like a skill issue. You guys have the best SMGs in game and many other good things, quite asking for Cold War crap. Also IS-3 would be absolutely overpowered.
This will be just a power creep in the armor, we need the T44 100. It is a very similar tank to the KT and will solve the balance issues. Then the Soviets can finally play BR5 safely.

T44 100 is already in the game, much more difficult to use than IS3 when facing TG2. No, the armor profile of T44 100 is not on the same level as TG2. Map design and grey zone says big no if you try to flank.
That’s T34 100, the T44 100 has better armor (yes it still doesn’t reach KT, but at least you won’t get pierced by random BR2-3 tanks)

I thought you care about WW2?
Why ask for something that never even remotely fought in WW2? Especially into tech tree?
- never used in WW2
- never mass produced, not more than 2 protos ever
- never adopted into service
- program dropped in 1945

We have a lot of protos in the game. I say we give them this because it still was a prototype in WW2, while the IS-3 officially entered service after WW2.

It’s that proto, or the IS-3, take your pick. Neither saw service in WW2. But the T-44-100 would be more balanced and avoid power creep.

Personally, I care more about balance than history. And that’s the direction the game is going. As long as adding something doesn’t cause power creep and then add more papers, I’ll support it. If Tiger 2H hadn’t been added in the first place, we wouldn’t have these problems, but now it’s impossible to remove it, so I want the T44 100.

IS-2 is analogous to the Tiger 2H, if the Soviets can’t do it then it’s a lack of skill.
