T26 T99 is a LATE 1945 Tank for info to devs… What Map in this FPS based on the Historical Conflict of WW2 do we have in-game where it was used? The latest Campaign we have for USA in-game is Ardennes 1944-45 Winter, Late 1945 is a Year later and half a year after WW2 Europe was over, and in Pacific the M26 arrive okinawa when shit was over. so please explain this to me?
As for the Ho-Ri Prototype is actually what you should’ve added instead of Production one, would have made more sense AND yeas as Premium.
Then the Chi-To and Chi-Ri in Tech Tree, with the Chi-To Prototype as maybe event Vehicle.
Learn to make sense and not add things in a way that doesn’t and learn to take into consideration things like, was it built? prototype? production, combat tested? ooperational, plausible production etc
Like in Ho-Ri case. The Ho-Ri I was made mockup, it’s gun tested, and by a far stretch could’ve been built and all that, it’s a plausible vehicle, fine put as a Premium vehicle. the Ho-Ri II on the other hand was only drawn up plans of wishful thinking, not at all a good addition, It was not built, tested, prototype, plans even finalized, not plausible to even build, a Jap tank that heavy, that much armor and that good mobility, srry but no.
In conclusion don’t add shit here and there without thought.
Production Vehicles in the Tech Tree and it’s variants that wre made in greater numbers, odd ones as event vehicles. Prototypes and one-offs and Premium.
That way you keep The Tech Trees makes sense, the general immersion of that faction during WW2 is there, and the premiums are interesting and add spice and flavor being special.
AS of now your deleopment strategy seems to be whatever one of your dudes found on lunchbreak scrolling through wikipedia images just get handed out be it whatever, some other dude jsut add be it event or premium without any idea about The general composition of these different Armies of WW2.
Some vehicles you’ve added as premiums and events that should clearly be in Tech Tree being mass produced and used in combat in greater numbers, then here and ther you got some one-off rare prototype you put in tech tree, or as in really bad cases like with Ho-Ri a paper tank in tech Tree, which is frankly put it idiotic.
It’s THE top TD in-game, best armored, armed and mobility,k which is jsut pure fantasy, and ruins the historical immersion.
AS for the side of the coin regarding imgained ‘‘balance’’ between factions in-game, the only way to have balance is to make a system that puts equal numbers of players and skill in same battles, as in each side get to 2 high rank players 4 noobs and rest 6 bots each in every team.
Skill in this game equals the match. It’s a combined arms game with Squads.
Tank kills Infantry, plane bombs tank, Infantry AT take out Tank, fighter take out bomber etc etc.
Stupid pretend balance of adding shit to factions becasue trying to perceive balance by even more idiotic ‘‘Battle Rating’’ is plain dumb.
In the end I will take out 95% of the playerbase with fully equpped Kar98 Squad, bring whatever weapon you like doesn’t matter.
asymmetric balance, and faction being good and bad at different things adds immersion and fun to the game. especially in a game where we have Squads and combined Infantry, tank and Air.
If you develop and try maintain it that way, you jsut basically make all same and could put all BR 5 Vehicles and weapons same stats and they just have different skins, I mean what’s the f point?
that’s the only way to get true balance in that way.
But f me what a boring uninteresting game that would be.
You play this Historical WW2 Squad FPS to feel WW2 feel? yes? you want your Tiger tank to have impervious armor and gun, you want take out T-34s liek was nothing, them swarming you and their Infantry closing in.
Different things to play with bad and good, and realism and immersion be it gamepace, graphics, maps, matchups is key to good fun game
just my 2 cents and then some
