Decompressing 5 tiers is an absolute necessity, along with other changes to matchmaking.
People keep bringing up the “lack of playerbase” problem, when the BR range of things can be expanded or contracted as necessary to adjust for the popularity/player count.
The BR of weapons should also consider historical accuracy, beyond the possible imbalance between the sides of the game.
For example, MP38 and PPD34/38 should drop levels in the tree since they were available since the start of the war.
There will always be nations with better and worse weapons, that’s just the way it is.

Because that’s not what battle rating is. BR should ONLY take into account hard stats and strenghts and pit everything of similar values with similar ratings.
You guys missed the boat on historical accuracy. The previous map preferences system devs proposed, would have allowed it to some degree if it got refined.
But most ppl wanted war thunder br without even understanding what it implied. And now those same ppl complain.

We have 18 unique BRs worth of vehicles, but they’re crammed into a 5-tier system that effectively only has 2 lobbies of tiers 1-3 and 3-5.
If WT has a compression problem, then Enlisted has a supercompression problem.
