Possible problems with Steam nicknames

Dear players!
Not long ago we implemented Unicode nickname support in the game, while new Steam players now immediately get nicknames similar to their Steam nicks with some limitations.

During some technical work on standardizing the existing nickname display, we gained a malfunction leading to the reset of nicknames with some Steam players to nicknames based on their Steam nick.

This issue might also affect some of the Gaijin-accounts already linked to a Steam profile.

We didn’t plan to change the nicknames of Steam players who previously changed their in-game Nickname and within 24 hours we will try and roll back these changes for all players in order to return the nicknames or provide the opportunity to change the nickname for free.

We apologize for any inconvenience. We will do our best to fix this problem as soon as possible!

If they don’t fix the bugs that are currently frustrating players, it could be an average rating.
But on the other hand, it will give us a rush of fresh blood to spill.

I don’t understand what’s the point with nicknames?

Didn’t Enlisted share a friends list with his cousin?

How about copy what you did for CRSED?

Just to be clarify. We know Enlisted isn’t available on Steam, so If you are wondering why it could still affect some of you anyway.

This error can happen if you have your Gaijin account connected to Steam, it doesn’t matter which Game, it could be WarThunder, Crossout, CRSED…

If someone of you is affected, please be Patient, issue will be fixed as soon as possible!!!

Note: try to Log Out and Log in again from time to time

So if Enlisted is launching on Steam, could I just link my account to that? I just wanna play through Steam in hopes that I won’t have to install ReShade every time Enlisted gets an update. CRSED never made me do that whilst I played it on Steam.
