Not quite, the campaign description is THE BATTLE BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES AND JAPAN THAT DECIDED THE FATE OF ASIA and there is only Japan flag and US flag. So it is only to be those 2 nation for now.
Also, the tech tree is going to be added in the next update anyway.
Which is why we have Aussie guns, a premium Aussie plane and an event Aussie squad, all on maps that are located in Guadalcanal, where Aussies fought… right.
And I forgot that DF gives a crap about their description.

I did ran with a pilot with no perks, im just using the default pilot that comes with the squad
Perks make no difference, just full throttle and push nose forward as you start off. No flaps. Fly as level as you can, immediately raise gear when in air.

To be frank they can add the new UK and Aus and Canada ones, since they also took part in Pacific
same with japan, they can get the heavier tanks like Chi To, and Chi Ru, allowing new US heavier tanks to be deployed.
I managed to make it fly finally, though it almost fell into the sea, i was in like 15 attitude, then managed to climb back up, still i really think they should fix the take off option being missing
