Please improve the APC spawn mechanic

You are able to spawn your APC when there isn’t 3 on the board, if you currently have one on the board then it blows up allowing you to re-spawn it (on squad rotation).

However as soon as you have a total of 3 APCs, even if it includes your own then re-spawning of your own APC or anyone elses on your team is blocked.

This becomes an issue when you have moved on 2-3 and sometimes 4 points from the original spots the APCs were placed. Even the natural spawns are more forward than some of the APCs in the pictures included below

You also get some players/bots still spawning on them (sometimes), which is very annoying getting that notification that someone has used it to spawn and then knowing how far away it is for that player to be of any use within the next x amount of minutes.

Even if you spawn your APC squad without the vehicle (since it already exists) then that squad cannot drive the APC forward

Examples of this are below, I’ve circled the APCs in red, take note of placements and points capped to distance relevant to current point

I also sujested that. we need some how the APC squad ablle to relocate the APC.

6 months later HTFU and fix this…

im deserting matches because people are spawning on the apcs on the 1 obj when we are on the 3rd obj and cant respawn the apcs

6 months is not the next day.

when my rally is the only close rally and no one else is building them, having an apc as an extra spawn point (close to the objective) is a good thing.

Implemented

  • Fixed a bug that made it impossible to spawn with an APC driver squad, if the APC limit was reached and one of the APCs was yours.
