Please correct the rate of fire of the Beretta 38/42 and M1

Hello bajtársak and fellow forum dwellers.

During the second world war the production of the Beretta 38A could not keep up with the needs of the Italian military thus simplifications were made to speed up production.
The new simplified design was the Beretta 38/42 and the M1 Beretta prototype both of which resembled the Mp40.
The cooling jacket and bayonet mount were eliminated and the separate firing pin mechanism replaced, the rate of fire was reduced from 600 to 550 rounds per minute to better match the Mp40.
However in game the both Beretta 38/42 and M1 Beretta incorrectly have 500 rpm instead of 550, probably because it was accidentally given the same 500 rpm as the Mp40 has in game which is correct (Mp40 can fire around 500-550 rpm).

Proof:

Both the wikipedia and the book “Military Small Arms of the 20th Century” agree that the Beretta 38/42 and all later models which includes the M1 Beretta have a fire rate of 550 rpm.

That’s not what is shown in Euthy sheet. It says 570 rof for all of them.

Because they are max upgraded.
The stock fire rate is the correct while the max upgraded is 15% higher.
Like Mp40 has 500 rpm stock and 570 rpm max upgraded or Beretta38/Pps42/Type2a 600 rpm stock and 690 rpm max upgraded.
But neither the stock or the max upgraded fire rate match the reality for Beretta 38/42 and M1.

Weapons shouldn’t be balanced accordingly to stock fire rate.

What do you mean by that?

Giving it 550 stock rof would meant ±630 rof if maxed out. It would be actually more inaccurate.

And maxed out rof is what matters, not stock one.

Thats the norm for all of the guns, there are only a few exceptions like MG42 that is still in historically accurate values even after the upgrade.

Lanchester stock 600 (correct) max 690 (not historical).
Mp40 stock 500 (correct) max 570 (not historical as it had 550 max).
Darkflow almost always gives maximum rpm with few exceptions like Mg42.
