Was the AVT 40 used during the war?
Are there any photos of the Fedorov assault rifle being used near Moscow, using the rare Arisaka cartridge?
Perhaps yes, the tank is relatively overpowered. But there is simply no other option to ensure that German tanks do not fall behind by 3 BR, although there is an option with the Jagpanzer-4
we’re talking about the Aut-40 with 20 rounds*
Yes, with the standard issue 10 rounds magazine.
However, after the production started in mid 1942, it was cancelled in mid 1943 due to unreliability, automatic fire was banned and the remaining AVTs were sent back to be converted to SVTs.
Even the AVS 36 was not used in the end of the war?
None that I know of - that’s why I said “possibly”.
What I have seen is this:
However, winter war is part of WW2 and there it was confirmed.
Not normally.
AVS 36 was phased out and gradually withdrawn from service in 1940-41 due to unreliability and cost, and replaced by SVT-38, then SVT-40 (production of which was also later stopped in favor of Mosin 1944).
It’s not easy even to find a photo of a soldier with SVT in Berlin.
It’s not about being OP, it’s about it being a prototype which never saw frontline use or even mass production – and I strongly dislike that on battlefields, hence “no, thanks”.
Excluding the VK.30.02, the suggestion seems fine.
On the VK.30.02
However a big no to the VK.30.02, let alone it fighting BR2, facing BR3, tanks cant pen it,
As you can see, the penetration map is lying, the only place the F-34 can pen is the turret cheeks (which it can pen on the Panther anyway).
This is without even looking at the other options of what would fight it.
I can see the idea, Germany certainly could do with a more well armoured vehicle for BR3, but atm this isnt the way. I mean maybe the Jagdpanzer 4 is a better option, since it is quite resistant, however not immune to the F-34, though there is still the issue of it facing BR2, however due to it being a casemate, and somewhat unwieldly that could be okay. I mean ideally there should be a Stug 3G in the TT, but yet another premium squad is fucking us over in that way.
As for the rest of the suggestion, I have no complaints.
select a distance of 200m, the most relevant distance for tank battles in Enlistad, and then select the BR-350B projectile (MD-8 fuse), which is used in our game and has a penetration of 94mm at 100m.
And then what ? Murrica gets M2 crybine to compete in BR3 ? After that Japs needs something so what are we going to add for them ?
The maybe used 6.5 arisaka variant “smg” ?
How about just no ?
Id say its quite alot healthier to the game to nerf the absolutely broken lazor beam smg which is more accurated than assault rifles.
Rather than move somewhat comparable guns to compete with it in BR3.
Id say the biggest issue with KV is that it can appear in BR2 games.
Sure the BR3 GE tanks can defeat it with ease but the BR2 tanks struggles quite a shitload against the KV.
While id say the differency between destroying a PZ3J1 and PZ4F2 is quite nonexistent.
And also, agree with the detpack thing.
Tank like that would be just fine around BR4-5 where you can expect people to know its weakspots.
No.
PPSh needs nerf. Fix the busted dispersion on that thing.
It was in use until 2 september 1945 at Soviet-japanese front, my friend
It is possible to enter the StuH-42 tank with 50% high-explosive and 50% shaped-charge ammunition.
https://old-wiki.warthunder.com/StuH_42_G
There’s also the Stug-4 variant, but it’s not available in War Thunder, as it’s essentially a clone of the Stug-3G, but the Stug-4 has a 360-degree remote-controlled machine gun like the Hetzer.
Stug-4
The MKB-42 has a rate of fire of 500 rounds per minute, so there’s no point in demanding something to counter it, as it can be outshot by any 3-round submachine gun in close combat and slightly further away.
on the ru forum, I suggested introducing Suomi with a 40-round disk, but I didn’t find any support
40 rounds in a drum
You kind of miss the point here.
Id say majority of people were fine with ppsh high rof.
The issue is the fact it has so little dispersion that it functions more like assault rifle rather than smg.
Adding another actual assault rifle wont solve anything but makes the issue twice worse.
The MKB-42 is already in the game and is located at 5 BR, with a rate of fire of 500 rounds per minute, although this weapon is at the level of the PPSH-41 Sector
That kind of should highlight the issue for you, theres a gun in BR3 that is comparable to BR5 weapon.
