Currently the customization for the Japanese is absolutely lackluster. Even their base uniform in-game doesn’t have the right Khaki colour. While many people have suggested adding the vegetation camo suit for the Japanese they can also do with some of these nice camo patterns as well.

Is this a giretsu paratrooper?
Their camouflage was not embroidered or printed, but hand-painted later on olive-colored military uniforms.
So the actual ones must not have had the clear camouflage pattern as shown in the OP action figure and illustration.
There are many theories about the color of the paint, with some testimonies saying it was black ink and others saying it was light green paint.
In any case, the real Japanese military probably did not have camouflage clothing like the OP’s.
This is a reproduction on display in a Japanese museum.

Thanks for the additional information. I just happened to randomly find these pictures on Google Images.
They also need to replace the ugly green and grey clothes with tan.

Yeah. The ingame costumes are not very cool and will need to be replaced with better ones.
