I am getting so “disillusioned” with this game! Devs when are you going to do something about these bloody planes, constantly, one after the other, dropping bombs all over the target area? How the hell are we to plan, hold or defend an objective if we cant stay alive for more than 20 seconds once on the obj? I mean this game isnt War thunder is it? These are small maps that just get blown to bits non stop :rage: Please do something about it, let us be able to plan attacks and be able to hold obj. Do remember that in the second world war, air cover wasn`t always there in every village across Europe. Plus, once the fighters, bombers had softened up a town, city or village they stopped doing that once there own infantry had entered that area or they would have killed all their own men :roll_eyes:

yeah and everything was bombed to the ashes during ww2, so planes are part of the cancerous experience. But I agree, Enlisted isn’t exactly most historically accurate and realistic game so restricting plane spam could improve gameplay quite a lot

Yes you are right, they are part of ww2 but not on every map 24/7

All the time, lately, I am trying my hardest to get to the obj, hold it or blow it up only to be blown to bit`s by a no skills plane. It can be so hard to get to the obj, especially say on Omaha beach and then to be left feeling sole destroyed to have to start all over again and again.

Plane PTSD is actually historicaly accurate: It was also known as Shell Shock. The best exemple can be the sound of a diving Junker JU87 STUKA.

Have a second restock point that requires landing on an airfield for bombs/rockets. Should reduce time between bomb runs and reward good pilots.

Just increases suicide bombing.

What we need is another point where if you fly to, you can get out of the plane and change squads without dying and losing tickets. Then make it so going to this point rewards you by spreading XP to your other squads or something. That should reduce the amount of suicide bombings.

Attacker beats tank, fighter beats attacker, tanks beat fighters (not directly, but are a lot more useful for pushing the objective and killing ground units quickly and can’t be easily killed by fighters). You can only pick one of these three. Find your place in the rock-paper-scissors.

Thing about this game is everyone is limited to bringing one vehicle (idk if that changes with upgrades or not), so if you bring an attacker you can’t bring a fighter, bring a fighter you can’t bring a tank, etc. So far seems kindof nice actually. Honestly I haven’t had too many issues with attackers, but part of that is attacking as a pincer rather than a push (thus I am apart from my team’s cluster) or making heavy use of buildings.

But I bring a fighter rather than a tank, so there is that. But unless the enemy makes themselves really obvious by just charging on foot out in the open (which has happened a handful of times), I generally net maybe 1-3 kills by strafing per outing, as opposed to the hoardes attackers get from well placed bombing. But by eliminating the enemy’s attackers, my team’s own tanks can push or defend the objective in relative safety if they do so with good infantry support (which, to the credit of players here, is way better than any other FPS I have played).

Starkwolf it`s the relentless bombing runs not the strafing that I find the problem. Often one can spend so much effort, time and thought trying to get to the objective to only get blown to bits by planes. I totally except being killed by the enemy infantry by whatever weapons they have to hand. The non stop planes really need to be reduced to make the gameplay more enjoyable for everybody. Alternatively they could do something about the weird bullet sponge plane-on-plane damage to make air superiority a decent deadly threat for ground attack planes
