I guess I’m just suffering from “skill issues” today! 
i think it could be a great idea, something like a 5 or 6 man squads that comes with a truck/light tractor that lets you build an anti-tanks gun that change depending on the BR. The difference with the engineer squad could be more ammo and more variety of fieldguns/AT guns. Maybe the ability to build stuff like heavier AT as structures or infantry guns like the M1 75mm howitzer, 75mm leIG 18 and the soviet 76mm Zis-3.

There is no need to make brand new squad for it, just add this function to at soldier squad.
Such tactic will barely work in the game due to how small the playable map area is.
