yes the mythical magical mg42 with 250 round that was totally used by infantry and not vehicles or aa, which reminds me have you found a picture with over a hundred rounds being used as a mobile infantry weapon yet.
I mean like I said before itās all about balance I mean itās very similar to see it except for vehicles I mean you Tiger 2 then P47 and for Soviets better SMG and ARs+bodyarmor so overall yes thereās some differences but you are right there is some unfairness for yāall but I mean then again the main reason for all this is because of balance but yeah that could be used on anything thatās ābetterā
Are you awear that multiple configuration of the MG 42 can exist?
The already existing Mg 42 is just as real and historical as the version you are talking about. just give the MG a heavy bolt and you have the configuration enlisted is useing. Give the same MG 42 a lighter bold and you can have the 1200 rpm. or if it is even lighter up to the 1500 rpm. All of those exist so no version is less ārealā than another.
Giving 1500 rpm with 250 rounds is just retarded as it would be a nightmare to balance as it would outperform basicly every othere gun the allies can muster without arificially beeing nerfed with terrible Dispersion or recoil.

It does not have to be weakened in order to be at the mediocre āLevelā of Allied/Soviet weaponry,And the issue of cadence and ammunition belt is not a problem for Germany.
Iām still waiting for the AS-44, T20, Hyde M1944š
