P1Y3 Model 33 - Japanese Tier 5 Bomber

P1Y3 Model 33
2 Prototypes built. Version of the long-range bomber and carrier of manned bombs “Oka” Model 22. It had increased dimensions and a combat bombload of 3000kg. Its basically a larger P1Y1 with stronger engines to compensate somewhat for the larger airframe but compared to P1Y1, it carries far bigger bombload.

We are talking:
2x 800kg (1600kg)
12x 250kg (3000kg)

548km/h at 6100m at Military Power
568km/h at 6100m at WEP

Only 4 engined japanese bombers can rival it.

I had never heard of the Y3 variant. I gotta say I’m surprised, 12 250kg bombs would put it way over the Ju188 for heaviest bombload!
