Il2 behaviour - YouTube If you want to see how its armor works to. Reminder this is the second time were hammering that thing together. So saying Stuka is at the same level as that thing at lvl 7 idk about that. Pretty sure the Il2 can take out tanks at that lvl to
If you have still not figured it out the fatser a plane moves - the harder it will be to turn.
Therefore i think you should study your aircraft before making these āknowlagableā comments.
The BF109 is a boom and zoom fighter aka an energy one. It preforms best in high altitudes and SUCKS as a turn fighter.
With it you must climb to an operational altitude of around 1000m. Aka have the height advantage, then dive down on your pray like sharks.
Simple guide.
Yes i know about that to you know but still doesnt justify its move rate how much you try. Check out the other video closely and you can see that IL2 turn on a dime
It can take out tanks, but its really hard. The Stuka is really the best plane for AT roles.
And the armor isnt supposed to be so strong. It is a bug. Even tough my F1s 20mm destroys it at close range without much trouble
Sure we can go 40 too if you want. Or, as another alternative that actually would fit the timeline , the ZK-383. That thing can hold itās own pretty well.
@114857834 - Itās not so much hate. I just get a little frustrated with some design decisions in this game. They take the effort to add in a gun that never saw this particular campaign , but refuse to add historical things to vehicles that nominally had them.
I know we are not going to get to historical accuracy in this game, you just canāt do it and I get that.
But I think somethings, like the MKB should have been restricted to gold order perhaps, or another branch of the Eastern Campaign.
No shit - slower speed - better turn rate. Try for once to outrun an IL2 or climb at a steep angle. See if it will be able to catch you.
You have the speed advantage - use it
Ofc but if you miss or have an IL2 in the air you wont live long enough to tell it or have to take a long flight at least to rearm to then spot the tank again. Not saying the Stuka is bad, i love it but comparing them then IL2 is much stronger overall
Stuka >>>> IL2 by a wide margain
I had an Il2 once doing an high climb straight up with me to then spiral climbing up with my fully upgraded Bf109 A2 so yeah it can do that asw. Sure not as good as me as it shouldnt but still it was there which amazed me so that does explain something. And its not only that. It also glides better then an Fighter while standing still almost not loosing energy at all to then being able to climb
BF109F1 - not upgraded easily shakes off an IL2. You just fly in a zigzag, since theyre so imobile, get some distance and then climb.
But yes if the IL2 is at close range and you start to climb it might be able to shoot you down. Youre in a BF109 not an ME262. Maintain the altitude advantage
Son i know how to fly youre just talking away from the actual subject now
In not an aceā¦yet but i have my fair share of fighter piloting
Enlisted: Fighter Piloting BF 109 F2 - YouTube here you can get some 2 hours judging me facing and killing tons of IL2s. Doesnt mean they are right
Itās what I try to suggestā¦and what the devs are obviously doing. Moscow will most likely have Stalingrad maps at some point⦠and there mkb42h would feel right. (Also allowing tanks that could possibly last 1 second or 2 vs t34 and KV)
Right now, Moscow is⦠Balanced. Each faction got something better respectively. Remove mkb42h right now and there wouldnāt much reason for new players to choose axis, as mg34 alone isnāt enough
Clearly not. I wouldnt consider holding S and trying to outturn a slower plane in an energy fighter a skilled pilot
Clearly
Again keep altitude advantage. Or is that very hard for you ?
They better not add MKB for assaulter tough. I barely manage it on snipers. Dont want to see moscow spammed like that wven more than it already is
Well i have dog fighted one of the top players in game also in an fighter and managed to shoot him down. Doesnt mean im an ace pilot but got a bit lucky that time. I still have things to learn and occasionally i do mistakes as im fully aware of and want to improve. But when i see something like this and you tell me that Stuka is overall better then IL2 i have something to tell ya: its not about my flying
If you honestly think that Stuka is worse than the IL2 let me ask you a very important question here?
Have you actually played the allies campaign and used the IL2
Nope but i can make 1+1. And im an experienced Stuka pilot asw and had my fair share of Il2 20mm bullets
Then how can you say that something is OP when you havent even fucking played with it.
Classic wehraboos
i understand your frustration, the devs definetly do make some highly questionable decisions with this game. keofox himself have openly stated multiple times that they have very loose rules when it comes to historical accuracy.
had the mkb been added a couple weeks before it was i would have gone insane on the forum about it, but i have played long enough now to personally just accept their time travelling weapons. i just want to enjoy the game now, something i am struggeling more to do every day. i am just looking for some fun and unique content, something the rest of the moscow campaign doesnt provide me sadly. and therefore i am a bit more accepting of the mkb for the fun factor of it
