It must be admitted that the content and responses that many players want to know are blocked by confidentiality agreements.
So players are more looking forward to seeing the developers demonstrate their action ability, execution ability and professional technical capabilities.
What players expect is for developers to keep their promises, complete all the contents on the 2024-2025 roadmap on time, quickly and with high quality.
And on the basis of the 2024-2025 roadmap, many aspects that players still expect will be exceeded.
Finally, not only was a detailed roadmap for 2025 to 2026 drawn up (with each project accompanied by an estimated completion date).
It also roughly sketches out the roadmap for 2025 to 2030, and even the roadmap for 2025 to 2050 for the players.
-Enlisted in the year 2045
-Spawn into game
-Enemies playing as Wermacht have a V-1 rocket upgrade in radio operators skill tree
-Half the map explodes including the radio operator, its own squad, and both teams armour divisions
Meanwhile in the Pacific:
-Spawn as Japanese imperial soldier
-American team has the “Atom Splitter” upgrade for their radio operator
-My teams whole side of the map is nuked and the game ends in an instant loss
Jokes aside it would be interesting to see where it would all go
i didnt watch the stream but read this post, heres what best for gaijin to do:
-
implement map picking ASAP
-
reduce dispersion to extremely low levels and increase recoil on all guns with formerly high dispersion → games is more realistic, logical & transparent
-
ignore the whining minority that gets butthurt about other players leaving games. do the following; read 10 random comments who demand muh-desertion-penalddies & try to find any addressing of causes or talk about incentives instead of penalties. you will never find any, all these comments are made by people who simply cant comprehend social situations on a proper level and are perpetually stuck on a toddler level of causal understanding.

if you want to improve streams you dont need random stuff like streamer mode (which is also a waste of coding time for normal players), instead implement map picking, as i said, and streams will be MUCH better. i did 8 streams over the last 3 weeks & the current design of enlisted forces you to leave most games at the beginning unless you want to bore your viewers for 30 min.
most people dont want to watch defense games, so youre basically forced to leave half of all games. of the remaining games people also hate watching assault & conquest. depending on the map destruction & confrontation is also very boring, leaving only invasion attacking to be useful for streaming. AND on top of that comes the problem of half the maps in the game being bad/boring.
yesterday gaijin tried to put us 3 times in a row into steel plant…yeah sure, nice try.
→ these factors combined force you to have an expected value of ca. 80% “desertions” just to find a map-gamemode combo that is interesting for viewers to watch.
if gaijin wants better promotion, which regular streams are definitely good for, then THIS is the issue that has to be solved. unlike other people in this forum i always ask for game improvements that improve the game as a whole for every player and which dont waste time on microrelevant stuff.
lack of map picking is the highest priority problem the game has atm.
Oh, I missed this thread entirely yesterday - apologies! Spent some time reading it all…
I don’t disagree with the premise, of course we’d rather fix/look into glitches, but different departments do different things. They wouldn’t have overlap in this case, and it would at least contribute to prevent the large number of deserters. To what extent? Unsure, it’s not something easily measurable, but something that could be done.
What I mean is a mode where “streamers” (or anyone, note this was just the name of the feature, and it’s not actually just intended for streamers but can be used for all players and there are reasons to to help prevent desertion, an “anonymous” mode essentially) can hide their name from other people, and get allocated a random name (similar to harmonization of names, but in reverse). This would prevent desertions happening right at the start of the game, but might not overly help with mid-game desertions, since by this point the strength of each team is usually known by players. Therefore, it’s not perfect, but it’s something to help combat deserters.
My own opinion, but I doubt this matters much. I don’t think an increase in Silver/XP for those remaining will do anything to combat deserters. I don’t wholly like the idea of some kind of punishment for deserters either, but it seems better than nothing, and depends on what it really entails. A dev blog should help with this relatively soon. Though no matter how it’s done, I can see people not being fully supportive of it - it’ll be something else quite mixed, I expect. The idea of making matches that see fewer desertions is super important though I think for the future of the game.
This would make MGs not as useful IMO, and make the game even more SMG-focused. Not entirely, but that’s what I’d expect. MGs in my opinion should be receiving buffs (just my own thought).
But generally I do think reducing dispersion (not removing it entirely, but making it across the board lower for increased recoil across the board) would be very interesting. A number of things would improve as a result I’d think for all players of the game.
I wrote a bit incorrectly on the feedback section here - but BP camos specifically are the ones that affect it more than standard camos, which is nice.
That’s kind of the idea - I’m up for trying anything though in terms of suggestions within reason. But I wouldn’t be able to show some with too much swearing or something like this, so there are caveats.
Could be quite interesting actually. The success of this depends on the number and quality of submissions though - not everyone is an artist, and some may use AI in fact which defeats the purpose of what you were trying to get past, so it’s not perfect.
Feel free to post in a thread if anything needs clarification!
Happy to where I can mention things. However, “feelings” that some people aren’t too positive are not really something I can address. I get it, but equally me saying anything won’t help. It’s more down to the updates of the game going forwards and whether those help.
/my next wall of text is over
So to make the game less SMG focused, make other guns SMG-like (slight exaggeration) so they are more useful? I don’t think that’s they way forward.
Base dispersion is usually fine. But I have a big problem with the movement penalty to dispersion across all weapon types. However, it’s most noticeable with MGs (for obvious reason).
It’s just punishing an active play style. And you have no way of countering it other than to simply stop moving. Literally just pure RNG.
I’d rather give a movement penalty to recoil than to dispersion. Because players can at least try to handle excessive recoil.
If you like active/aggressive playstyle, why take passive/defensive gun?
(Though I agree about dispersion being annoying.)
Thing about MGs is their performance is amazing “IF” you get the opportunity to use the Bipod…Thats their strength. Janky Bipods having to interact with the terrain and setup time (that often requires multiple attempts) robs them of this
Im really hoping this Bipod suggestion that was forwarded gets implemented to give MGs much more freedom to use their bipods in the high speed Enlisted environment
Make ALL Bipod Bonuses Apply Automatically to Prone - Suggestions - Enlisted
Then that would free you up to look more seriously at recoil and dispersion while MGs keeping their own particular style.
That’s why I said I find it annoying across all weapon types, it’s just most noticeable on MGs.
Just replace this dispersion penalty with a penalty to recoil on movement and make the recoil penalty for machine guns so impactful that they become barely usable on movement.
I don’t really understand why you concluded that this change would suddenly remake MGs into great weapons for active play style.
You wrote is just after mentioning MGs so I assumed it’s about them. My mistake.
Also I just checked and only MGs and AT guns have dispersion penalty when moving when aiming. Unless I missed some unicorn or a whole herd (because who needs a system or a standard?).
Reducing dispersion of MG only is a cheap tweak that will only strengthen full auto meta
Realistically, it would just downgrade all BA/semis rifles. And would make the full auto meta even more of a promiment in BR 2-4.
So I’d prefer if they made the change I suggested. I think it would help a lot the weapons that aren’t full auto. Plus we would get rid of the annoying RNG element.
idk what is waste of time when this is just fixing one line of code. it is basically
changing
cout << player_1 << player_1.rank() << “rest of kill feed”
to
cout << player_1 << “rest of kill feed”
different people do different stuff. idk what streamer mode would actually do, but i would guess it doesnt have anything to do with modelling new factions, vehicles, cosmetics, maps etc.
same reason why they removed ranks from score tab. people saw that enemy team had loads of players with high rank, while they had loads of silvers and then they just deserted.
agreed. idk who is this for… for whole 3 people that actually stream the game…
Removing the ability to see other people’s nickname decorators literally kills any purpose of nickname decorators.
It would be pretty pathetic if they existed just to be present on the post-match scoreboard.
well i think it is primarily about removing peoples rank and not nickname decorators. although i see some twisted logic about removing those also(e.g. people with sword or crossed swords usually represent higher skilled players)
It’s nothing but useless junk and when they made the news announcements they should try to focus more on the mod stuff instead of talking about the clan nonsense.
They should make stacks fight stacks.
You know it’s gonna be a fun match when it’s clear you are with a bunch of randoms against a stack of clanrats.
True but they should also still put counter mechanics like the airfield so matches are not one sided and you can have a chance to turn things around.
I agree, solo players should get completely seperate MM queue from stacks. Without conquest and assault gamemodes being present there.
But that’s quite impossible demand with current size of playerbase.
If another stack cant be matched in queue, then the stack gets full pve.
That’s anyway what i expect the stack players to want as an experience (total domination and farming of solo players).
i would give them match against ultra buffed bots, cause they dont need easy match for teaming up…
