Operation "Snow Mayhem"

Sure but then everyone ignores the evidence they dont like. We’ve had that plenty with the 4000 rd belt MG42 crowd.

Literally selection bias

Hmm? MG42 is a very well documented gun and its variants are still in use to this day so that is a very poor example.
Limiting MG42 rof and magazine size are game balance and design question, not a historical one.
The Fedorov Avtomat could be a bias question, US army evaluation suggests about 400 rpm while post production Soviet army manual claims 600 rpm. With how chaotic Fedorov production was both could be correct so that is just a bias matter of which one you want to believe.

The squares on the back are the rail the sight actuates on.

And this is how thick the actual peep sight is

Its a video game gimmick to make sights as open as possible to maximise field of view, I never really understood this philosophy since I want to shoot as accurately as possible.

Just following up re new Federov rifle

Somethings potentially off regarding its horizontal dispersion. Stats dont match its field performance

Something’s off here with the recoil, its consistently wider than similar rifles when it should be narrower, aka IRL ~41/10-15
