Yes, it’s different, slower paced, it is like Big Action but with more maps and tactical choices… something the Devs here have missed a big opportunity on, by not making that mod a default game style (large scale Enlisted).
The attention to detail is amazing, HA authentic, I still enjoy Enlisted, but this is now what I play for realism… there are a lot of themes Enlisted could take, but for some reason hasn’t…
Why would enlisted copy other games that are probably bad anyway? It’s better to reinvent the wheel than to copy AAA slop or some unknown indie game noone plays.
I saw some gameplay videos from it and considered buying it.
it really looks promising (i think it also recently received the Chinese campaign?) For now however, i’m going to stick with Enlisted.
I’ve played it, the historical aspect is amazing, I’ve finished the campaign on both sides, but it gets repetitive very quickly, Enlisted has an incredible variety of weapons and classes, and every battle is a new experience. It’s a good game, but it’s definitely not a replacement for Enlisted.
It’s funny how you say it gets repetitive I played one map multiple times, it’s not just to k move on, to next map, I love the idea of trying different classes, vehicles, planes, tactics.
Enlisted I have multiple BR 2 / 3 presets to keep it interesting, I have so many vehicles and they just sit there, without doing that I could sit in BR5 and then get bored very easily!
But I won’t, I’ll try a Tunisia themed lineup, hoping one day I’ll actually get Tunisia not Pacific! Or I’ll try the 109F2, or 1O9ee7, or the BA11 and Lee for soviets, etc etc
If I did not change it up I would have got bored long time ago, I could simply go MG42 100, 2 paras, Jagdpanther, Tiger II H and Ju 88, but I don’t…hence not bored.
I do play BR4, BR2 is most popular, but what I am saying is that repetition in ER or Enlisted is easily done if sticking to one route.
Honestly, I’m not sure how you can get bored of 7 different beach assaults, multiple locations, weapons and vehicles though…
It’s a matter of taste, at least for me that game got boring after a while.
However, that game is really a disaster in terms of gameplay, the graphics are generally bad, and the game physics are very bad. As they say, “it’s a World War II simulator game”. It’s not a quality FPS game and it doesn’t have a big publisher.
But they made some missions from old games, I played some missions that were imported directly from CoD2 and I enjoyed it a lot, it was very nostalgic for me.
I hope Enlisted will one day include some of those maps in the game.
I know we’re all of this feed back is going too…straight to nobody cause darkflow and devs rather chose money over making a decent event where everyone could be happy💀
I just checked and they recently added a Chinese theatre as a DLC featuring Nanking and Shanghai, definitely checking it out since that sounds pretty interesting taking into consideration how little representation the Second Sino-Japanese war gets in games
I mean Enlisted could have done something amazing if they added either of those locations as maps to Enlisted but oh well
Hopefully and I really mean it HOPEFULLY the next update actually brings something awesome and top tier quality to improve the morale and recover the playerbase’s goodwill
@Mortarion_Death - Thank you very much for letting us know about the situation in the other part of the forums (in fact I did wonder about that as well, including posting my doubt that a translator would be able to catch some meanings that only a native speaker will be able to detect). It is very interesting to see the a large part of the Enlisted community, regardless of language or nationality, is pretty unhappy with this.
I get that, its only been a couple hours … but if there is any updates coming, even if you can’t give specifics … it would be appreciated if we knew something was happening.
simply a message of “changes are being made … more updates to come” type message is plenty if specifics can’t be made.
mainly: forwarding to devs doesnt mean something will be done … but if we know changes are coming … that gives us some feedback that they are listening to at least some and taking action to improve.
Can you maybe ask the devs to give us some information on their plans. People perceive the game to be dying. A clear statement on this matter would really clear the air and would at least allow for some hope.
