I can be certain that regarding RD-44, what you are looking for is definitely not a 50/50 balance.
The bulletproof vest no longer has much effect on BR5, and the firing rate of FG-42 and FG-422 is much faster than AVS-36, and the damage is sufficient.FG-42 and FG-422 are already the strongest rifles at close range, and bulletproof vests are necessary to prevent them from continuing to gain an advantage at long distances.Providing a bulletproof helmet to Germany can solve the problem, as it allows you to no longer worry about being shot in the head by a submachine gun in BR2 or BR3.
If there were no bulletproof vests, the German BR2 submachine gun would only need two shots to kill Soviet soldiers, and the Soviet Union would need better machine guns because their submachine guns no longer had an advantage.
The submachine guns in BR2 and BR3 in the American only require 2 shots to kill you, and they have a high firing rate, so you don’t have to worry about the America.
What America needs is the BR5’s high firing rate machine gun, which must be on the technology tree.T-20 may also require some buffs.
KV could be handled even by br-2 GrB-39 and about tanks, well, uptier is tough… Even T-34s are way too powerfull vs brII. No problem BRIII vs BRIII
Sherman 105 - is HE only so it’s fine plus not that big armor so even BR2 Ho-I could kill it with HEAT rounds frontally(via some spots). Same no problem BRIII vs BRIII
No it uses 8mm kurz the military museum in Prague page explicitly says it , and my book (From MG08 to MG 3)also mentions that out of 6 of the machine guns made 3 were converted to fire 8mm kurz which was requested by SS
Also VHU names them ZK 432-II( Not much here but I hypothesized that II in the name is indicator that these variants used 8mm kurz)
Also 50 round mags are post war VHU explicitly mentions them being post war so you can get 100 round on the gun with loose belt(the gun accepts 50 round round belt , the box holding the belt is post war , also I think like most weapons in German army you could chain the weapon’s belt so thats why I suugest with 100 round )
Another thing I also checked VHU’s page and theyconfirm what my books said that the 8mm kurz variant was made as request of SS.
If we only add a BR2 Uragan equivalent to GE ?
Fast rof (700-800)
Easy recoil and almost nonexistent dispersion
3 shoots to kill (just like Soviet smgs do rn on low BR)
Recommend buffing the Rof of Fnab ajusting it’s recoil but lowering it’s damage to same as URRS smgs
T20 have way better dispersión and easier recoil than FG only problem is it’s sigths nothing else
And well for the MG once again time to leak some ww2 secret prototypes maybe there would be a belt M1 garand or smt similar that could be a decent US MG
Well recently Saw smt interesting
Maybe after You realize what i’m talking abt u the Sherman 105 could be jistificated hehe
When it comes to KV-1 ok ok well maybe German hear isnt that Bad while dealing with KV-1 on br 2
My only suggestion to make it more balanced is to make KV-1 more vulnerable to TNT charge and demopacks aswell since if You want to kill those things u must trow any explosive over the tank
You may not have noticed, but TNT has been buffed and can now penetrate 40mm of armor. You can now use it to penetrate the chassis and turret top of KV-1. This means that throwing TNT next to the tracks can destroy KV-1.But the explosives are still very bad.
