I did create a topic for the Uragan and another post for also moving the ZK into BR 2 should the stats for the Uragan be fine for BR 2.

I know its not always reliable but Wikipedia does mention variants with different RoF and variable RoF.
As such if you feel that is slightly OP for BRII, another option could be A BR II MG34 could be introduced as an “early MG34” with a lower Rate of Fire
Also means a higher MG 34 with a higher RoF could also be introduced.
Its rof would have to be absurdly slow for a 50 round bullet hose like the MG-34 to be balanced at BR2.

600 rpm MG34 feels like an upgrade - not a downgrade for some reason. I guess long reloads for MGs …
Yep and it’s made the Soviet and allied player base inherently weak and for those of them who want challenge there is nothing here for them.

You do realize that’s basically what you’re saying right so if I want to jump off a ledge I should do it and not let my common sense dictate my thought patterns or anything because I feel like it.

serious question, why dont you guys make suggestions / topics about controversial stuff as well?
It would be easy to say “you just moderate content” but dont you also have opinions? I would even like to know what the devs even feel like, in the end these open discussions exist for “brainstroming” ideas through multiple people.
I have changed my mind often about game balance, because of proper discussions with multiple people, I bet you also have something to say.

Maybe Im sick in the head for this, but I think the Breda is a really good BR2 MG, Though yeah the Madsen would fit perfectly.
A bren for the soviets work but idk, Id want to stay away from lend lease stuff where possible but where needed why not. The other options are experimental weapons like the Gorov or Clip fed DP.
Vickers-Bertier seems a bit OP, and I dont think the Chaushit was actually still in use by that point. (Just checked, a quick check reveals that it would fit funny enough for either the Japanese or germans, both using them as captured weapons, there are some minor accounts of third line french troops using them during the fall of france but thats the only allied use I could find.)
Yeah I think the Type 11 would work at BR1 too, I understand it could be a bit strong for BR1 however I think thats balanced out with the other failings of BR1 Japan, not to mention its cool to see common use equipment see more widespread use in game.
Dunno, feels like a slower firing ZB26, not really impressive unless you prefer stability I guess.
Clip-DP is nice, Gorov is already in the game and so far, they never put GO stuff into TT, especially changing the class access midway.
Is it? It has the worst sight and only has slightly better recoil than the other Brens for slightly worse dispersion.

I mean the Breda is the worst of all the BR2 german MG’s, but its still really good, I run it since I try to use larp weapons as much as possible and since the MG 1 squad is italian its needed.

Honestly it is a placebo, but I swear I do better with it sometimes. Still though its not enough of a downgrade to justify BR1, and otherwise all the other MGs that the western allies used on any scale seem a bit too good, unless you added something like a hotchkiss and made it act like the solothurn.
Yeah, base. Even that might be pushing it, considering how stingy darkflow is to giving Germany much needed buffs.
The Vickers-Berthier is the only mg in the game I can kill people at range while standing up. It’s basically a Type Otsu, except in machine gun form. Plus, I find the sights more forgiving than the Brens.
So have you found the suggestions and passed them on to the devs already or did you miss them?
