Isn’t there still a chance they could still release the update today? Or have they always released it around the time the daily login changes?

Ofc theres still a chance, but yeah, 12am is normally when things happen for me, now 12,20am, so still time
just occurred to me Updates usually happen about 7pm ish(my time) in the past, and as you say after the daily log in, changes, and events are are midnight, my bad.
I expect that all this extra time was used to greatly improve the contents of the coming update to better reflect the primary concerns of the community.
