I want to grrind it as much and many times as possible.
no wait you forgot the best bit!!! 3 more variations of the mauser (excluding scoped variants)! Aren’t you excited! Doesn’t this make you want to pour 50 hours of your life into a campaign they’ve likely spent more money getting irrelelvant streamers to play than they actually did developing it?!
It would of been better to do France 1939.
They shouldn’t just “incorporate it into Moscow”, they should rework progression and campaigns.
Well then, i’m ok with this, as long as i have fun. The number of existing weapons isn’t endless and i’ll rather grind three nicely modeled quite realistic mausers than fantasy bullshit like CoD provides. Also i like the european battleground (incl.North Africa) and would be completely fine with Stalingrad and the opportunities it offers for new stuff.
So, regarding your question: YES, I AM EXCITED! THANKS!
1940 actually
Its like axis Tunisia all over again XD
xp bonus for already unlocked items.
already unlocked MP40 3 times? okay 300% xp bonus for MP40
i dont mind and im a nobody so hey i must be counted in here. But i get the repetitiveness. Still its WW2 and to me its all about the experience and maps in this game
perhaps just make the MP40 the starter submachine gun on Stalingrad then make a submachine gun such as the ZK-383 unlockable later on
Unlocking the same things multiple times over is not rewarding no matter what. It’s a strange and suboptimal design to put it mildly. The entire system begs to be overhauled into something that doesn’t deteriorate as you add new campaigns and more progression levels to existing ones.
tbh i couldnt care less about the same weapons. as long as the gameplay is onpoint on the new campaign i m all in.
a urbanized area like berlin, with snow… hummm
will we finnaly see apcs?
Poland was 1939.
If they add Romanian and Hungarian weapons, I’ll happily try to get MP40 butOtherwise…i should go back to Berlin.
I guess this is unpopular opinion, unless it’s just a loud minority pushing this point, but I don’t really mind grinding out duplicate gear, especially when you can transfer it from one campaign to another now. Personally, i’d like weapons to not be locked to campaigns, and just appear in campaigns where they historically appear in. If that means I have to grind out gear i’ve done in another campaign, then it’s whatever.
I agree that there could be a better system at play, but it really isn’t that hard to level up the first 10 levels which are likely to have a lot of the repeats in it. Overall, the amount of new stuff, alongside the new maps, should make up for maybe recycled content. Personally I think it’s dumb to not expect common, popular weapons like the MP40 or the K98k to reappear through German campaigns.
The vocal ones are almost always a minority when it comes to games. The rest either don’t mind (at least not enough to do anything) and play without saying anything, or do mind and leave silently.
The reason why I push for an overhaul is because it would make the game better in the long run. Current situation is not intolerable, but it still is a clear flaw and it will only get worse as they add more content.
If it’s Stalingrad or even it isn’t, most important is historical accuracy.
I don’t want to use Lazer guns just because the right weapons are already being used on other campaigns.
Presently I’m saving all orders so I can use them on the new campaign.
I’m honestly hoping it’s Stalingrad with the weapons that were used there.
I really don’t want to see Russians with panzerfaust as default weapon.
I would like to see the likes of Guards rifle infantry
I’d like to see Penal battalions
Also tiger tanks and kv1s.
Engenders should be able to set up trenches that other units can use.
This isn’t about wanting to get equipment that doesn’t belong in the campaign. It’s about unlocking the things you already have, things you’ve spent many hours unlocking, in some cases up to 4 times already.
I think the biggest issue in regards to that is if they release new weapons that are less powerful and earlier in the tree, but you had a more powerful weapon later on in the tree unlocked in another campaign, chances are the majority of players would use the better gun rather than the new one.
