No credit for losing less soldiers!

Isn’t the absolute number 1 priority in war is staying ALIVE?! Nowhere near enough points is given for less squads. I like the realism in this game but it’s simply arcade to throw 14 squads at it! Whilst someone with only a fewer kills etc but loses 2 squads is far below them. Obviously most credit goes to kills but a little more credit needs given to people who play a war game like maybe, they’re in a war😊

I’m not talking in extremes mate. It doesnt mean losing 80 men or none. A little bit of middle ground. I suppose it’s about a touch more realism. The market is awash with ‘arcade’ FPS.

sniper squad players already annoying at low br, I dont want them to be couraged to stay more behind, be more camper around the map

What we should get is reward for defending objectives. Sitting capping gets 5 score per squadmate per tick. But sitting in defense so the enemy doesn’t cap gets… nothing.
I’m not saying it should be equal but getting like 1 xp per squadmate per tick seems fair it doesn’t over incentivize turtling but does reward players for playing objectives defensively.

Yup some games are over before they even get started because of ‘Meat Grinder’ mentality. Teams need to conserve soldiers, equipment losses to progress. Advance but advance smart using terrain and heaven forbid properly marking enemy vehicles and strong points, and supporting tanks.

The enemy lines aren’t magically disappearing in front of you, that’s arty, planes, tanks, mortars and snipers.

Bigger problem is that attack/defend objective is scored only for killing players in the close proximity to the point and within it. Which makes a hugely unequal point earning for attackers (you can spam tank shells into the point and get 1.5x per kill) and defenders, who not only have to sit in the point and eat tank HE or the point will get swarmed and capped, but also shooting from within the point doesn’t score you a “defense kill”.

Great point! If I’m on the point shooting it should count as a Defense kill!
If I’m killing soldiers on point it too should be defense kills if we control the objective!
Technically they should be some of the easiest to get.

Oppose, soldiers who do not actively complete tasks are not good soldiers. Additionally, this suggestion sounds like encouraging camping.

The campers are usually the ones who kill more due to less loss, even if they are almost impossible to be in the top few of the team. :man_shrugging:

I’m not sure, but if you think it’s not realistic for players to charge recklessly regardless of losses, then indeed, because real warfare requires gathering soldiers andthen launching charges, and in most cases, there is no cooperation between players in the game.This seems to be the real reason.
