Night Battle Features

I get what you mean—bots with laser vision and players cranking up their gamma could be issues. But those things can be balanced. Devs could tweak AI visibility at night to make them act more human-like, and adding a proper brightness cap would stop gamma abuse. If done right, night battles could add a whole new layer of strategy instead of just being a gimmick.

Yeah night battles might be challenging, but that’s part of what would make them exciting and immersive. A solution could be making night maps an optional game mode or giving players the ability to vote for them, so those who enjoy the experience can play while others can avoid it. Plus, flares, flashlights, and tracer fire could balance out visibility, making it more tactical instead of frustrating.

if it something like during halloween event i kinda like it, tried a mod on night mode and it does feel amazing imo

ughhhh…

in 4 years, AI somehow got dumber.

i get people didn’t liked 360 no scope bots.

but since that " issue ".

they have just became headless chickens going for a point in a single file line.

i’ll give them this much though;
AI are now able to build rallies, ammo boxes and place medkits.

but as far as improvements goes, something tells me that it’s going to be " it ".

You can raise brightness using desktop filter, also Nvidia nowadays let them available on the card menu too

so you’re telling me that someone is going to be super meta and decide to brighten their gamma so high that they turn night into day? i mean i get that but it seem a bit too excessive to me tbh

and way too petty imo

Yeah they have lol  but it would mean not as many bot’s are killed due to being dumb and the fights would be more interesting with all the tracers and maybe search lights to all over the city maps it would be nice to try

Yeah they could restrict it so people cant abuse the gamma maybe

well i get making it a lot less dark but to turn night into day? that just insane tbh

also halloween event is pretty good for showing what night battle could look like in enlisted

True but I wonder could the remove the in game gamma setting or restrict it so that it cant be abused like that

You don’t understand, you can’t restrict people abusing of their video card or monitor gamma filter, you can just work on the game slider one

That’s fair enough either way id still like to try that kind of a mode

You can try in other videogame like HLL or the old Rising storm 2, but you would find why people hate night battle… Getting shoot by someone meanwhile you are in the pitch dark isn’t fun

I had a very similar idea not long back
New Game Mode - Suggestions - Enlisted

Commando Raids,

Just throwing out there a idea for a game mode based on Commando raids from ww2, Think small maps at night with limited to 2-4 player teams no planes, tanks or airstrikes, Just infantry squads. limited respawn tickets for both sides very quick matches. one side if raiding and one side defending. randomized spawn points for the attackers. Think north Africa airfields with the SAS attacking dessert airbases to destroy Italian and German fighter bombers. or coastal raids into France. Tnt Charges used to destroy grounded fuel trucks ammo depots and planes?

British Commando operations during the Second World War - Wikipedia

Raiding flares would be amazing and the stealth mechanics. Would also be really cool way to utilize the para squads also.
