Hello and Welcome !

One good advice : if you haven’t already, unlock the engineer and build rallies !

Yeah apparantly it’s a thing… though I never saw it being useful even once tbh.

However you can use the same command to ask your bot to arm/disarm a bomb in the destruction game mode. Can be useful as it allows you to protect your bot while the bomb is being taken care of.

yeah rallies, if my engineer doesn’t die.
the bomb thing i didn’t know and it can become much usefull

V - to spot
Q/E - to lean
remember to set your refresh rate to as high as possible and turn off vsync if you have freesync/gsync monitor

as of now im playing on my 1050ti on my oled tv on low settings, but i am getting the new pc in a week time which i finally can game on something better.
it took couple of matches before i found the v thing, and does Q/E leaning help in battle its harder for me to aim when trying it.
i do LOVE the replays, kind of fun to see how others play in the same match you had.

Damn and I thought my GTX 1650 laptop was about as bad as it gets these days. It does 50 - 60 fps on low though, so there’s that at least.

yeah, coming from ps5 to this “bare minium” was a shock.
If it still runs at 50-60 fps then thats still nice, coming from the console 30 fps to 60 i can’t go back so if a game runs just around this, im happy

Welcome to the community!

Don’t worry about the nay-sayers (and there are many). You are very welcome to the party!

My advice: Flank the points. Build rallies. Don’t worry about losing a match, K/D isn’t what this game is about.

I will help elaborate this individual (I only assume) is familiar with the game and is a newcomer to the PC platform and not the whole game itself. What I could be misinterpreting is that they are more looking for the savvy “tricks of the trade” involving the platform change and not the games basics. My apologies ahead of time if I am mistaken and in my own head.

Like for example, intense games that are pushing the games processing limits can be taken advantage of to toast an un-cooked grilled cheese, simply rest it on the computer fan as a bombing run is called in, flip when the final battle is raging and TA DA, pseudo grill :sunglasses::ok_hand:

i have the same problem. before jet update, i was easily getting 60 fps on high graphic settings, but now I’m having problems even with low graphic settings and i have fps drop.

What card are you running? From what it seems to me, and what I’ve heard from others, Enlisted has terrible optimisation for RTX cards.

it’s gtx 1050ti and i7 9700k. i’m thinking about upgrading my graphics card, although I’m also planning to buy a laptop.

Yeah, I’m hoping to upgrade next year to something like a 4060. A lot of people dump on it, but then a lot of people aren’t stuck on 6 year old (or in your case, older) graphics cards with 4GB of VRAM.

I’ve had so many good times with this card, it’ll definitely be hard for me to part ways.

Unless you’ve redesignated your keyboard like me. :yum:

When I first started playing in 2022 it was with my old 2012 Compaq desktop computer I bought used in 2015 as my home built gaming computer was trashed to lightning strike. I had a surge protector, but it wasn’t enough. I did the few up grades I could on the old 2012 computer, but not much you could do and it was fine at first, but when I would run I would have to look down at the ground somewhat to lessen the fps or it would jerk. So, I bit the bullet and bought a $1,600 gaming computer, which I got on sale for a grand in 2023. I can play everything on ultra quality, but am starting to get depressed now that it’s a couple years old. :pensive: Hopefully it will be fine for the next several years cuz I really don’t want to have to spend that much for another computer. I was worried when I had to ship it from the US to the Philippines, but it’s been fine, and I am glad I can use it with both 110 and 220 power.

Man, that’s no fun. I used to live in Capella, Queensland which used to get so dry that during the day, it could be no clouds (and I mean literally no clouds in sight) that you would just see lightning strikes because it was that static. It just reminded me because that area had in-built power surge protectors in the power points, likely because of that exact reason. I was lucky enough though that whenever it hit the power lines, it would just blow up the transformers.

If your PC is playing everything at ultra quality, then you will probably have no issues with it for at least the next 1 or 2 years in terms of upgrades. What lightning strikes and the silicon lottery has to say might be a different story…it’s only really now that I’ve found my GTX 1650 needs replacing, as new games I want to try out are out of my spec, and it’s starting to stutter more on games it shouldn’t be.

It keeps getting me that overseas uses different voltages. In Australia, we use 240v power, which I believe is the highest power point outlet in the world. I would say it’s likely because of the vast distances that power travels here.

I think it’s 240 here as well. I had to check multiple times before I plugged my computer in, and even cowered while I turned it on hoping I wouldn’t hear a pop and see smoke, but all ended well. :joy: The lightning strike actually blew off the ground wire from the power pole to the house, so it blew out the surge protector as well. When it struck it was late and woke me up to my lights in the house all glowing, which was weird since they were all turned off. So I got up and flipped the light switch which instantly blew out the bedroom light bulb. So, the power company came the next day, and I found out it had also trashed one of my TV’s.

Wow…that’s very lucky (or rather unlucky) for that to happen. Should’ve put in for the lotto - you might’ve won the jackpot.

If you are playing via Steam and would like to eventually buy something. Buy it through the official store where it will be cheaper for you.

And if every cent counts for you, basically any WT YouTuber has a link that will give you a 3% discount for enlisted store.
(Interestingly enough, I haven’t seen this with Enlisted YouTuber).
