New visual effects!

Soon every battle will become a scene out of a movie! We have redesigned a major component of the visuals, creating a captivating spectacle of unprecedented scale.

Every hit from small arms will be accompanied by realistic visual effects, while explosions of vehicles, bombs, artillery shells and drop tanks will become more detailed and spectacular.

Special attention was paid to projectiles ricocheting off the armor of tanks too - they will not only look more authentic, but the updated sound effects will make it much easier to get immersed in the action. Gunshots and explosions in the sky will also receive updated visuals.

In the “Forest Shadows” update, every player becomes the director of their own war movie, mastering the chaos and enjoying the spectacle. The Battlefield will be your stage!

Can we convince the developers to provide us with more clothing for soldiers to customize?

@MajorMcDonalds On the topic of visual effects for Enlisted, I think you should talk to the developers about a “post processing” customization feature so players can adjust contrast, saturation, etc. This could really help colorblind people too!

For example, look what Escape from Tarkov can do

I currently use NVIDIA filters to accomplish what I need to do but it would be ideal to be able to do it in game (so HUD elements arent affected). The game looks so much better with less saturation

I like those new effects for explosions. Well done. You guys have some of the best explosions fx for vehicles in most current WW2 games I’ve seen, specially tanks exploding. Other games like the Loose guys it looks too overblown (pun intended) and the ball of fire doesn’t look as cool as it does in Enlisted.

But I’m wondering, will this also affect the current head shake cam effect we have? As I’m starting to get annoyed by it constantly in high tier. You know how many bomb and zoom runs jets can do in a single minute? Even more so if they crash every time and a new player hops in, only to do the same. Then multiply this by two planes for each team. It’s ridiculous.

NOOOO my PC

just asking this options are optional cuz if no maybe my pc wouldnt be able to run the game anymore : (

What would make the visuals better is if destroyed tanks didn’t just turn black, for example in a explosion not every part of the tank will be equally charred.

The new flak actually looks very chaotic (as if the AA gunner actually want to hit something), which is so much better than the orderly timetable explosions alternating between each side of the plane.

So good job on that.

It was the same for me, pacific maps were unplayable getting as low as 25 FPS on them.

I have gotten a new GPU so I dont have such issues anymore, but I still get random stutters on certain maps.
