Thank you for pointing this out, I was wondering why the devs had modelled c47, not axis plane… now my ocd mind can relax.

I would have liked to have submachine guns in these troops, however the new rifles are also powerful and although bolt action they have a rapid rate of fire and look good.

I can’t wait to try this squad, I’m one day late.

Sneeky rally in coming!

SMG’s would be a logical choice for a paratrooper but I am glad they got bolties.
I play Enlisted mainly because they honour bolt action rifles so much.
Besides, the +20% ADS speed perk they get will be very useful for CQB.
I’m still hoping for a premium bolt action squad like both sides have in Berlin but then for the Japanese. Too bad I missed the December 2022 event one :frowning:

I agree with your opinion. I usually play Normandy or Berlin and love semi-auto guns and submachine guns, as does everyone playing that campaign, but the bolt actions in this game are really fun and comfortable when they hit the target.
If I could find a place for the bolt action, I’d be all over it, and the airbones they are giving away at the event have the potential to be a lot of fun. I highly recommend getting one.

Definitely. Even a high budget WW1 game like BF1 did not honour the bolties. Very glad to see Enlisted do this right. TBH Gaijin in general is just really good at catering to my unique needs. Strong, iron sighted, bolt actions in non-sim shooters and stuff like weird 1950’s aircraft in a semi-sim (not arcade game like Ace Combat or full sim like DCS) in War Thunder.
Very pleased with the company as a whole. Definitely worth giving continued financial support to their continued game support.

If it wasn’t for their torturous marketing strategies.

You store them in your pocket…

I mean, they had no other choice when they have given Premium Medics Airborne SMG’s.

The m1 of the us event para squad from the image i think is the full auto version, I can be wrong but it seems to me the para m2a1 (gold order in normandy)

@Rickyd123 what you think carabine expert?

I believe the M1A1 is semi-auto only.
It has been listed on a imfdb for quite some time and it was semi-auto.

likely is a semi auto , since i have a photo of one that looks similar to that except for the gun sight

If (as it seems) it’s got the 15 rounds clip, it’s probably better as semi auto only, otherwise you’d spend more time reloading than shooting (and you can’t even bring pouches on paras).

Still, Marines paras will be the ones with the weakest default weapon so far.

Magdumped on a squad and downed 3 Germans in Normandy with it.
Still, would’ve like it to do 10 dmg up to 100m for a fully upgraded one, at some other penalty if needed.
Kinda feels like they don’t the M1 Carbine justice if a chest shot never downs someone in one go. Regardless of that, I will thoroughly enjoy playing the US para’s when they come with their Carbines. The folding stock version is just the pinnacle of an already beautiful gun.

I’d rather say the inverted paradigm:

It’s only strong for the enlightened.
