The -20% xp for next two games is just game quitting new nonsense and should be removed.
the only good thing and i can’t stress that enough when i say THE ONLY good thing that this game had was the fact that if you left the battle you will get a penalty FOR THAT BATTLE that you left.
now you are aiming to decrease the XP from next 2 potentially good games , this will only demotivate people to try harder in those two games and in my case make me want to leave them even more.
you keep pushing it and players will simply switch to other games and stop playing , and i’m one of them.
there are TONS of reason for leaving the battle and only if you never played this broken game you would think otherwise .
anyways this is what i think and i hope you don’t burry the game with this nonsense

Penalities for desertion can only improve the game. There’s no shame if people who are trying to systematically bypass the system will quit the game. It’s literally only the positive outcome.

penalty for the game you left is understandable , but to penalize NEXT TWO GAMES , is just stupid and it will not make anything better for anyone .
human psychology is simple on this one - you punish my 2 good games cos i left one crappy one will demotivate me to play or it will simply make me afk most of those two games and be as inactive as possible since you are taking 20% of my effort - im not putting any .
this will only make people waste more time which in this game is already being wasted on unlocking crap you don’t need or want to be able to unlock things you do want which will simply make people not wanting to be bothered to waste any time at all in this game.
if they don’t revert this stupid decision , remember my words and you will see players leave slowly but surely and knowing gajin it will continue punishing remaining ones till the game simply dies

I don’t support this decision at all. You must reward those who persevere in battle rather than come up with this idiotic system. I will keep deserting battles if I have to face those sweat stacks while solo queuing or completely unbalanced factions at multiple BRs.

That penalty just doesn’t really matter when you have premium time + premium squads + veteran soldiers.
DF really wants us to play those shitty stomps and get even less silver/xp than deserting and just playing with -20% penalty:

We still can’t refuse to enter those maps that I don’t like, and the probability is even high. I will not hesitate to oppose the punishment of deserters now because we didn’t get anything and were all messed up.

guys, you won’t believe this, but I still see people leave games as much as I used to. This penalty doesn’t really seem to be working lol. And it wont work until the devs address the main issue, I see pacific map, I leave (sorry to the 2 Japan mains out there, but your maps are shit) Now obviously different people have different map preferences, but I’m sure you get the point. The majority of people leave before the game even starts (at least from what I have seen) Why, because they are not tryna play some shit ass map for the limited time they have to play games every day. same goes for game modes. whenever I get conquest, like 90% of the players leave. Penalties aren’t needed, they don’t address the issue. The map picking is the issue. I know this has been said like a million times now but it’s true.

I’ve been playing three years, 20% is laughable as all my squads are maxed and all but my Japanese TT’s are completely researched, so, even though I don’t desert a lot, penalize me all you want as it doesn’t hurt me one bit, it only hurts newer players. To be honest, with the direction Enlisted is going I have been steadily losing interest and am down from 25-30 games a day six months ago to only playing maybe three games every couple days. I do however play the 20k every two day deals and the other special events.

Perhaps the reverse needs to happen?, offer some sort of incentive to play through a match, i really only play what would be the Normandy and Africa campaigns with a little Pacific tossed in, I do straight up leave the moment I the lobby popes up for eastern front or if our side is being curb stomped just before the match finishes to avoid the same group.
Offer me something to stay, balance out non-enjoyment with some sort of reward, maybe just the chance at extra silver or maybe gold 2-5% chance, we have the new like/dislike map system tie it into that?
As others have said I to am at a point where I’m only playing for the gameplay I don’t need anymore gear.
