The whole idea that a game needs to be unfair “because” war is also unfair, is simply ridiculous.
Lets me give you an example why war is actually fair compared to the game.
A mine will kill yourself just like your teammates, or even civilians.
You build a trap for someone, which has a major collateral damage risk.
This is a fair price for what you get.
In enlisted placing a mine has zero downsides. It doesn’t make you choose between a mine or gadget or grenade, everyone simply gets one.
Now if you think this is no issue because you like using them - then thats totally fine, but I dare to say the game would be much more enjoyable for the majority of the players if mines had some sort of limitation or downside to them.
Why can you call a piece of equipment that is full of randomness and non-universal risk-free?
It’s like choosing explosives over grenades
Holding mines is equivalent to giving up TNT and large mines
This means that their anti-vehicle and combat strategies will be greatly limited.
And mines don’t always kill the enemy
It’s just a waste of a precious equipment slot.
Biggest Downside atm for mines, you could use stuff which really helps the Team… TNT or AT mines does 99% kills infantrys biggest threat, a Tank.
a mine, a squad wipe per week once is nothing worth talk about it.
But crybabys start every week threads about it, until they are nerfed into useless crap. But i dont care, i simply support that opinion, mines are ok and funny.
a Death inGame is no REAL death, spawn new and fight back.
