Bruh the Thompson sucks ass. Just because there are no better SMGs in Tunisia doesn’t mean it needs a nerf.
It’s not bad, it’s just not well suited for the openness of Tunisia. It’s very good in Stalingrad and the more urban maps of Normandy

I hate it. M2 Carabine is using up too much of my brain power to bother trying to deal with the Thompson’s recoil. I believe in Grease gun supremacy.
Yeah, the carbine is good, but due to the M1s ROF, its the best weapon Normandy Allies have for CQC. But also yeah, grease guns FTW.

With some practice, it is ok(ish) even at range. I use it extensively in Tunisia, and (at least with fully upgraded ones) it isn’t particularly hard to engage targets a few dozens metres away, as long as you “snipe” single or double shots instead of blasting away.
Besides, as also Grease Gun enjoyers will agree, the bullets are slow but retain good damage over distance.
It’s iconic AND fun, what’s not to love?

In fact, all Thomsons have been weakened once before, leading to all Thomsons except 21/28 and 1928A1, which suffered from a severe decrease in somatosensory sensation due to their disgusting scopes
I mean you arn’t wrong, but the BAR’s low dispersion just works better for Tunisia IMO.
Oh, yes, the BAR indeed shines with its versatility, being both accurate at long range and hitting super hard in CQC brawls.

Thompson is not a great smg from the beginning, m3a1/sten/lanchester are better in both normandy and tunisia, it requires to much work on upgrade and perk for be good like the stoke version of them
