Japan currently use the german “75mm PaK40/3 L46” in the highBR matches. According to DF / Gaijin, this was only intended to be a “temporary” option because there wasn’t enough time to complete the japanese and russian highBR AT-guns. A few months have passed since then, and nothing has changed.
Japan also deserve their own high-range AT-gun. Therefore, I suggest the two following variants:
1. Type 90 75 mm field gun
→ over 786 were produced during 1932-1945
japanese “Type 90 75 mm field gun” maybe lack penetration (103mm). It’s the same gun which HO-Ni I uses and that one will have troubles against tanks like Sherman Jumbo, …, T26E4
That’s why I added a second one which might be better for that role in high BR
Honestly I remember when I was looking for options, I thought it might be a good idea to forgo the heavy AT platform the Japanese due to a lack of true options, and instead allow them a buildable coastal gun, like 120mm+, I mean its slow reload would prevent it being over powered, while at once would really live up to the pacfic theme of Japanese fortress mountains.
