This weapon is horrible compared to Its late-war counterpart. Every time I use it Stalingrad, its shot spread is awful. semi-automatic is useless if it can’t hit anyone at close range. the G43 is so much better.

I like the G41. It’s not too bad, reload time is the main thing that gets me in trouble. I prefer it over the ZH, but the G43 is a hundred times better.

I like the g41, as mentioned above if you want accuracy you need to fire slightly slower than what the gun is capable of…bit of trigger discipline

Gewehr41 is a great gun with the best iron sight the game has on semi-autos.
Its not a gun to spam, people often do that in late war campaigns with SA rifles expecting the same in Early war where these are balanced.
I don’t understand where this came from, never had any trouble in ranged combat, killed many snipers in Stalingrad using them.
G41 is not supposed to good in cqc so it is balanced with some nerf, svt-38 has similar behaviour.

At least it’s not zh29, that gun is bugged deviation or something big time. G41 sounds kewl too.
g41 is just nah, too much effort to just play it right, skip this.

It’s by far one of the most fun to use guns for me.
I can’t know for sure but I might have hundred of them around all campaigns that is avaiable.

Well, the alternative is bolt-action rifles, which are obviously cumbersome to use, especially without bayonets;
So if the G41 can’t be used successfully in Close Quarters Combat, then what can?

It can be used quite efficiently in close combat. But sometimes it just feels like you’re shooting ghost bullets. But that’s not only problem of G41. I noticed it’s thing on more early mid-tier semis.
That’s why it’s more reliable to shoot little bit slower.
This weapon is not supposed to be strong top tier gun, that’s how it is. And with upcoming rework of its reload mechanics, I think it could be very enjoyable weapon.

It’s a very enjoyable gun.
Zh for example is superior in every way,but,aint as fun to use and imo deadly as g41.

G41 is fun to use. And that’s 90%of the important part on a gun for me.
Since I know reload is an issue, I change the way I play with it, and it just works.
It’s the same as using a turret less TD. Some players strung with them, for me, they give better results.
Most times just changing the way one play with certain gear makes them 992729 times better.

The bad accuracy could be manageable, since it is ok enough in medium ranges, the reload speed is however truly horrible.
I prefer bolt actions over this very mediocre rifle.
If they fix its reloading, then I might give it a few tries again.
