You’re take seems to be the most reasonable. But I’d rather see guns like the FG-42 and AVS-36 moved to Assaulter, unless they also get their semi-auto ROF capped.

Might be a skill issue in your case I’m wiping the floor with semi-auto’s after the “nerf”, seethe and dilate or get good.

Why should they be given to assaults squads??, are they a SMG?, is it a LMG?, Its a SEMI-AUTO RIFLE, what class do rifles go ?
Should stay with the class they came with, ie Normandy FG 42 is for Engineers,( but can be equiped on troopers) FG 42 II, is for snipers only,
its the other campaigns, that allow these to be used by any class.
But do agree to limit, to class they came with, and shouldn’t be available to all classes.

Damn I’m glad I don’t have the FG-42 unlocked for Berlin or Normandy. Seems like Enlisted would be played on Easy Mode after equipping that on all of my guys. For now I’m satisfied with my Gewher 43’s lol.

I could if i wished, to have FG 42 on all , but i don’t, i also do not play Berlin/Moscow yet.
My Allies in Normandy, not as high as Axis side, but i don’t not have issues with FG 42, when i play as Allies.

It’s still a high level gun that most players don’t have yet. See how people feel about it in 3-4 months time. I could’ve had it in Berlin and Normandy ages ago but I wanted to wait for Enlisted to get some polishing updates and the recent AI update made the game way more fun. So I guess I’m grinding for stuff now.

Also, Shotguns aren’t SMG’s are they’re Assaulter weapons too. I just think select fire weapons like the FG-42, AVS-36, and BAR 1918 have a tremendous amount of killing potential and should be locked to Assaulters in every campaign for the sake of consistency. Can’t say much about Engineers because I don’t care what weapons are locked to them. Americans could get the M1919A6 as a better replacement as an LMG, there’s still the Bren LMG for Allies as well.
