The problem is that they added it
It doesnt work in an AI based game
They wipe squads from any range with ease. Thats why SFs need to be restricted or just not added
They also break immersion and historical accuracy
I don’t know about you but I have avts and mkbs on literally everyone on every squad and I love every single second of it.
(besides the mkb sniper and avs sniper but that’s Prety much the same)
By far the best campaign to relax after a long working day and farm silver orders with 0 regards on match outcome.
It can be fun

Like i play this game for the WW2 immersion. Its turning into a brainless COD shooter where meta is auto prototype/trophy weapons

i think that they should just set the weapons to be used based off of history, like, the mkb’s at first didnt serve much of a role, they were used like a smg, so that’d be just for assaulters, so not many of them would be used.
the AVT-40 should be used for gunners only, because the AVT-40 was produced to fullfill the shortage of machine guns such as DP, indicating that the machine gunners were meant to use them, also the AVT-40 production ceased after summer of 1943, so i think that the avt should be a premium, like the mkb42

Most units were equipped with whatever could be scraped up. Hell captured rifles, WW1 guns and so on.

Like, what was the problem of bombers in the early days of normandy? Explosion spam.
What’s the problem of tank vs infantry gameplay? Spam of tanks and spam of AT weapons.
What’s the problem of infantry weapons? Full auto spam. (Although now it’s smaller thanks to glorious BA buff.)
What’s the problem with playing the objective (that may be only my problem)? Explosion spam.

But how far that “spam” actually goes? Either most of the playerbase is playing on the cancer rooms that they state there are no humans and somehow everyone plays with fg42s mkbs stgs etc etc and i m here, playingevery freaking day and I rarely play against one.
I shit you not I can’t remember the last time I saw a fg42 against me or a mkb on Stalingrad,… Somehow that shit is “spammable” on every room some people play with…

Since I returned I play mostly against explosive spam so recently I haven’t seen one either.
You want reality? The Americans were notorious for playing fast and lose with their doctrine, even with supplying weapons to their own troops. The only thing that was keeping just about any GI from a BAR or a Thompson was how much their CO liked them. Seeing as you basically play the CO for an individual squad when you are doing logistics, would it not make sense for every trooper to be able to carry a BAR and Thompson? After all, it technically is how thing played out in reality.
So basically the entire game is flawed

Mines count as explosive spam and AA is clearly too strong, especially in moscow.
Know why?
Because stalingrad sucks because of the autos and SFs. All the explosion spam
And of course the shit monetisations
Everyone knew it was gonna be a bot farm. Its boring af. Adding shit to that campaign was the biggest mistake ever
Same for other campaigns like moscow.
Adding MKBs and AVS ruined the experience
Same with Berlim
Same with normandy
70 to 80 % (arguably) of ww2 kills did come from artilary, grenades mines bombs and overall explosions.
