Slightly better? They were even at best, now mp43 is just dumpster gun almost like mkb in Stalingrad. Not to mention that americans had BAR assault rifle to counter mp43 on mid/long range and everything else perfect to annihilate in CQC.
Uuuh, BAR isnāt an assault rifle since it fires full powered rifle rounds and if the grease gun can do well on cqc then mp43 can do just fine

Well. Df I gotta say, your decision sucks. Keep doing that and get a pve only game, axis faction is less and less interesting every update. Oh, did you want it to suck in Berlin as much as in Moscow? Nothing should be better than glorious red army ppsh41? Thankfully Fedorov, an obsolete weapon, is leagues ahead from the mp43ā¦

Fedorov is absolutely crazy, when fully upgraded it does 11.5 damage, combined with -40% recoil perk it is highly controllable. Btw, fedorov is also x2 accurate than MP43(fedorov has 0.35 dispersion while mp43/1 has 0.7 dispersion)
Yes exactly.
I was grinding Berlin axis in the HOPE the faction would equalize once the stg or equivalent got added. But noā¦ df made it heroes & generals style (weaker). As such thereās just no point grinding Berlin anymore for either side: I donāt want to rely ONLY on fg42II (that will probably get nerfed soon because itās better than avs) and I donāt want to stomp with a faction having all the rest (Exept fg42) better or equivalent. A fucking waste of time.

Well, I have played Normandy with MP 43/1 for a while at it sucksā¦
I just dropped all assault squads to fighter squads full of FG 42. Tonns of wasted orders for MP 43. Nice. -.-
Iām definitely not going to play Berlin for Axis since MP 43 sucks.

strange, doesnāt seem to be my recent experience with the MP43/1 since it works as effective as pre-nerf, so it could mean 2 things; itās still good or I just know out the weapon works 
I will try to explain how I see it.
MP 43/1 for me was good bcs it compensated itās weakness in CQC for better fights in long ranges. After the nerf this advantage was leveled so thereās no much reason o use it when you have FG 42 that can do same what āoldā MP 43/1 was able while you compensate itās weakness with low armor by bigger squad memberās numbers.

so then from my view itās still the same gun since i wasnāt putting that gun directly into their face in fact i was kind of spawn camping them from just outside of the gray zone lolā¦oh BTW it was never going to 1 shot anyways
It was clear 2 shots with decent cqc ability now itās often 3-4 shots with bad cqc ability.
Thereāre no real advanatges when FG 42 just one shots everything.
