I might be one of the few that really dislikes STGs and MKBs being a Sniper weapon. (because it turns them from snipers to assualters)

I think snipers should be Bolties and Semi Autos only

I feel your sentiment but I feel at this point with dividing weapon classes we should leave it as is, if it has a telescopic sight it goes to the Sniper. It does still make sense and fit. Besides long range snipers you have designated marksmen, sharpshooters, etc. They’re in the same family of “look through this scope and shoot at a target far away from you”

I have even been thinking maybe the Type 97 MG should be given to Snipers

There is just problem, who will carry scoped assault rifles and select fire rifles?
Its unlikely that sniper StG44, AVS and FG would be removed.

Even earlier with Japanese type 97 LMG that has a scope.
Though its worth noting that sniper rifles have less dispersion than their normal counterparts so they are worth using even without a scope.

Why they did such a random and haphazard move I do not know. Just lol random

I hope one day they correct it. Just remove the scope!

Because SVD-30 has a terrible iron sight.
That scope was actually necessary to make it usable.

Perhaps could lock them to semi-auto?

Honeslty though, doesnt really matter, I just dont use them and that fixes it for me

If I play sniper, I want to be a “sniper”

*Edit its best that sniper has these guns anyway, since they are a very limited specialist type, limits them from being deployed in absurd quantities.

Doubt it would a popular change.

You can always bring a semi-auto or even bolt-action sniper rifle with you to BR5, they are very effective!
But let people like me enjoy my scoped StG44.

thats what I mean. I do…G43, SVT-40 is as far as I go

heck I still bring SMLE MK IIIS to BR 5 because thats all the Commonwealth has.(I play nation decks)

(and T-20 is an abomination)

I believe in exactly opposite. Every scoped weapon should be available only to sniper class.

Because that’s literally the only thing unique about the class.

I also think sniper needs overhaul. (Spice it up)

Unique perks, perhaps unique squad buildable

(Also as i said a few comments along, sniper can keep the scoped autos. Stops it from being spammed)
