While the Bren gun was primarily a British weapon, the Soviet Union did utilize it, primarily through Lend-Lease during World War II. The Soviets received at least 7,000 Bren guns, often found mounted on Universal Carriers and other vehicles. A shorter and lighter Bren made by Enfield from 1944 for the war in the East and for Airborne Forces. This was similar to the Mk2 but with the light weight features of the early Mk1, with the main distinguishing feature being a shorter barrel and serrated area in front of the barrel nut. Overall length 42.9 in (1.09 m), 22.25 in (0.565 m) barrel length. Weight 19 lb 5 oz (8.8 kg).

pls explain to me why the Soviets have fastest firing submachine gun at br 1, that fires faster than most br 2 submachine guns that everyone else has. how is that fair?

obviously the PPD 34 shouldnt be BR1 and USSR should just have no assaulters whatsoever at BR1 /s

There is no personal merit in this. But in increasing the damage of FG42-2 there is already your merit, as in future changes.
