Move the new XA 38 to BRIV or BRV

Well… thats kinda becasue its the only other plane in the game with a 75

Yeah, sure. Or 4x250s, I dont really mind. As long as you’re happy)
Frankly it’s does not deserve to be locked in high br, + the only other meh plane on USA br3 is the whirlwind.

Exactly. Just look at it’s WT stats. People crying about stuff before it comes out is crazy.

tell me what other nation has 4x500lbs(or 250kg) bombs on BR3 with or without 75mm gun. closest thing would be ju87 d3 with 3x250kg bomb, but vastly inferior flight characteristics

That has nothing to do with the fact “that I am happy”. It has something to do with decent balancing. Darkflow can’t just come around with the argument “plane XY needs to go up with the BR because main armament is to strong on the actual and you can single drop every bomb” and then release another plane (doesn’t matter what nation) which can see and shred LowBR players like there is no tomorrow. That’s double standards from Darkflow side.

Compare it with the 2 german & 1 japanese counterpart on BR III:

  • Ju 87 D-3: yes, it has 3 x 250kg bomb (nearly equal to the XA-38), but has significantly worse machine guns (2x7.92mm offensive + 2x7.92mm defensive), is far slower in every aspect
→ there is a reason why that plane is BR 2.0 in WarThunder, while XA-38 is BR 3.7 there

  • Bf 110 F-2: has 2x250kg bombs (2 less then XA-38). Only good thing is the combination of the 4x7.92mm + 2x20mm but can’t shred tanks with the MGs / machine canons (expect very light armored), maneuverability and speed are almost identical to the XA-38
→ but even that plane is in WarThunder lower from the BR (3.0)

  • D4Y1: the only good thing about that plane is the 500kg bomb (even if XA-38 drop 2 bombs at the same time, it still can make a second run while D4Y1 has to refill). Beside that you only have 2x7.92mm offensive machine guns which are not really dangerous. It has better maneuverability (without a doubt) then XA-38 but I am pretty sure that XA-38 still will be faster.

All in all the XA-38 has a significantly stronger combination of armament and speed than its counterparts.
You must be blind if you don’t realize that.

In the past, you could also tell the usefulness of the aircraft in Enlisted just by looking at the stats card (without having flown them). If you couldn’t, than it’s up to you.

Hs 129 B-3: based on the stats card in enlisted before everyone could test it, we figured out that this plane is trash - even in LowBR (most people still prefer the Potez for a good reason).

Whirlwind: based on the stats card in enlisted before everyone could test it, that plane was and is also garbage. Most players who own the Whirlwind detest it because of its performance

However I see many very good players who don’t approve with that plane on BR III in its current version (here and also in the feedback section of the event). So, we can’t be that wrong with our opinion

End of the discussion from my side because even with obvious arguments I’m talking to a wall.

and far worse machine guns

Talking to a wall implies I’m not budging and standing by stupid arguments…
While I literally just agreed and expressed my version of nerfing it’s armement. Which, by the way, is the exact same mass-wise as your suggestion.

It’s nice that you made all those screenshots, formatting and kept defending your argument and all… but are you sure I’m the wall here?

I played the A20 before the jets came and enjoyed it being able to carpet bomb people but watching my plane disintegrate after pulling up was a bit annoying
