As I said, give em their Tiger for all I care. At least it was real
Besides, all factions have their pros and cons. One nation will be better at one thing than another. Right now, Japan has solid small arms and has the best death donut fighter planes. That’s their thing. Turn fighters. So the fact their armor can’t compete as well just means that’s their con. Subpar armor. Much like a lot of people believe the Thompson is inferior to the StG
They still need an AT weapon that does not end at 3.0. And an automatic rifle with damage 12.
The Thompson at a longer distance is worse than the STG-44. If someone is on the roof, and has an STG-44, it will kill you much easier than him. War thunder and enlisted are not the same. There isn’t a prototype in Enlisted that can’t work (DO-335). In enlisted you don’t have an instructor and in enlisted armor really means something. In enlisted, the tanks are much slower, it could be compared to war thunder simulator. In addition, the maps are made in such a way that there are obstacles for tanks on them. I think the Jagdtiger would be fine if the Americans got the T30 and the Russians got the ISU-152. It would be easy for these tanks to destroy the belt and the crew has to climb out and fix it, the belts don’t magically repair themselves like in War thunder.
Which T30 we talkin bout here? Cause there’s the Heavy Pershing Prototype and the one I suggested in the post which is the HMC
TD. The one with the 155 mm gun. I’m not against adding player controlled artillery, but that would be more difficult. It would have to be able to kill in buildings. But destructible buildings are difficult to perform.
It’s a heavy prototype, not a TD. Our TD doctrine was the exact opposite of the T30. It was built on a lengthened Pershing chassis
not true. most of the factions have more or less comparable weapons in all categories. there are only few categories where all nations are not equal like american AT weapon, AT canon, AR. japan besides BR5 sucks in almost every category prior to it and is worse than americans in many of them.
i would call their small arms solid considering they lack good SA. besides type hei AR, their semis suck. also fighters? wtf. considering that americans have better CAS and tanks, fighters are practically useless for playing objective.
There could be a long debate about whether the Americans have better CAS than the Japanese. The Japanese have a better tank. The current state of the Americans now is that there has been a massive exodus of the player base to 5.0. Some have switched to 2.0 and are bullying the Germans, some have gone to other trees. And those who remained desert massively (and I with them) because if I know after two minutes of the game that I will lose, why would I stay in such a game?
Ok first of all, the M9 is the best AT Weapon in the game. American rocket > Kraut shaped charge
Yes, yes they are useless for playing the objective. But, that’s what Japan focused on. Light, agile fighters and boats. Unfortunately boats don’t play any roles in Enlisted unless you want to imagine the artillery strike to be shore bombardment in the Pacific. Is what it is. I’m sure there are plenty of Jap tanks with a cannon powerful enough to abuse the Sherman’s if you’re smart enough. Shoot, just do what Sherman’s do to Tiger’s! Track and Barrel Torture! Tread em, barrel em, and machine gun the tankers when they get out to repair!
Boom. Problem solved. No need to add paper
It’s hard to tell for Americans. Is the M18 a TD or a light tank? M51 and M36 the same.
Meanwhile me at BR III, never deserting and having the time of my life owning everyone
M9 bazooka can’t shoot Tiger 1 unless you are completely perpendicular from the side. Just a small angle and you won’t do anything to the tank. Piat is much better, you can target the tank at a long distance as long as you use that sight.
3.0 is at least somewhat fun, 5.0 is pure pain.
The M18 GMC is a TD. The M36 GMC is a TD. It’s clearly there in the designation. Our “GMC’s” (Gun Motor Carrier) are our self propelled guns, which are most often the tank destroyer roll. HMC’s are “Howitzer Motor Carrier,” or self propelled howitzers for indirect and direct fire support. MGMC are “Multiple Gun Motor Carrier,” and are most commonly SPAA. MMC are “Mortar Motor Carrier” and literally range from truck we put a mortar in the bed of to M3 Halftrack with a mortar built into it that we can fire from the back of
The M51 I can only assume you mean the Super Sherman and that’s an Israeli variant of the Sherman. Not American
There is an absolute sliver that you can pen it from the front on. No clue where it is cause I randomly got it one day and haven’t replicated it since
I meant M10. I once read a joke where one M marking, I think it was M1, was a marking for a weapon, a helmet, and something else. American labels are pure chaos.
I shoot at the German tanks from a distance. I’ll destroy his track or something and tag him for our air force or our tanks. In the meantime, I’m amused watching how the tank I’m shooting at tries to find me.
And once more, M10 GMC
Clearly stating it is an SPG, and therefore almost certainty a TD
No they make perfect sense once you understand how it works
ho ri production? technically better AT capabilities cause it is TD. without MG so relatively limited anti infantry killing potential (mostly due to terrain eating up HE shells). also regardless of ho ri vs pershing everything else sucks compared to their counterparts.
nothing to do with overall weapon balance. playerbase trends were normal even before this update.
cause 120mm penetration is somehow better than ofenrohr with 200mm penetration and panzerfaust with 220mm penetration.
cant believe that i am reading this. you are basically saying that balance is ok cause sherman can OHK japanese tanks, but japanese tanks need to disable all misc parts to force sherman crew out so they can kill it.
The P47 is just easier to use. If you can hit bombs accurately, the Japanese CAS is better. Trees and buildings stand in the way of rockets. You can hit the bombs exactly at the point and they know how to kill better in buildings.
