More Driveable Vehicles

In game currently there is a handful of generated vehicles which players can drive.

I’d like to see more generated vehicles, especially civilian ones.

Transport:

On various maps it is a long way to the next objective. Running all the way it is guaranteed to lose most of your squad from artillery/snipers and so forth.

Ideally most squads would be similar to the APC squad in having a vehicle they can spawn with for transport. This is not the case, so we rely on generated vehicles.
They are also just fun to use, like the Gaz M1 in Stalingrad.

These vehicles are limited though and are frequently damaged by artillery so rendered un-useable. Having some more vehicles around would help this.

Immersion:

At the moment in maps, especially ones like Berlin and Normandy, every single vehicle is a damaged wreck. I believe it would be better having some undamaged, driveable vehicles here and there.

My idea would also be for vehicles to be unique to certain maps/campaigns. Below are some examples of these.

I’m open to suggestions for vehicles for Eastern Front maps, naturally Russians or other players here will have suggestions beyond the Gaz M1.

If you don’t want to drive vehicles in Enlisted, here’s the neat part: No is forcing you to!
But that shouldn’t stop those that do, whether for transport, general interest, or just to have fun.

Civilian transport? Hmm. Not a bad idea. But I’d rather see them littered around the battlefield so anyone can commandeer them. I don’t think they’d work as a squad class.

I’d agree there. Though I could be fun for a BR3+ guerrilla squad to spawn in the friendly tank spawn with a civilian vehicle, just looking at the FFL vehicle fitted for running off gas.

Oh my apologies I didnt mean this as a squad class. I meant as you said random around the battlefield to be used by anyone, like the current jeeps/kubelwagens,trucks and Gaz M1 (car in Stalingrad).

Oh dear, sorry that there seems to be a misunderstanding. See my previous comment to LokalHero.

However I do think guerillas should be able to use generated vehicles even if only specifically civilian ones. The FFL Citroen with gas power is pretty cool.
After all in real life guerillas/commandos would use civilian transport whereever possible including to blend in.
All armies also frequently commandeered civilian transport, in my book on the Fallschirmjager they specifically mentioned relying heavily on French trucks for some of their operations.

no spawn camping for you, already there, no vehicles for… What if guerillas can not drive but can ride…?

Really? So they’ve made assets for them but not implemented?

You just had to be a smartass didnt you?

I’ve known this style of truck as a Ford F30. There are various names for Canadian Military Pattern trucks and they can all lead to misunderstandings of which exact vehicle you’re talking about.

Perhaps I should’ve just called it the ‘bulldog front British Canadian truck’, would that help?

Yes.

On both counts. I mean how are you gonna call a chevy a ford? Thats crazy.

WHO CARES? I made a mistake. DEAL WITH IT. How does this impact in any way my actual argument?

Dont take it to heart, man
