Molotov is rules

As an anti-tank weapon, a Explosive Pack is one weapon a squad should have.
Another useful one is the :fire: Molotov Cocktail :fire:
This is a very underrated weapon, but it is the only grenade besides the Explosive Pack that can destroy tanks.
The Molotov’s superiority lies in the fact that the flame spreads as soon as it lands. Like the explosive pack, there is no need to calculate the time it takes to detonate or where the tank will move to if it is moving.
Just throw it at the air intake of the engine and most tanks will be incapacitated as the engine burns out. (Open-top vehicles, which are common among U.S. tanks, can kill all crew members just by throwing the bomb.)

If the tank stops dead in its tracks, you can stop it with a blast pack, or leave it alone and the tank will break on its own.
The fact that the grenade bursts into flames immediately after being thrown is also useful against bots, which have an almost 100% chance of throwing a grenade back when they find it, making most grenades a tool that will only kill you if you don’t pull the pin and wait a few seconds before throwing it. The Molotov Cocktail, however, does not.

I like fraggrenade, but I always make sure my troops have a Molotov and a blast pack because you have to wait a few seconds to throw it and it is completely useless against tanks.

Molotov is the rule!
You say it too!

Molotov is pure rng. Sometimes it is useful, sometimes it is not.
On other hand, EP is useful nearly always.

Okay, never mind.

Ehhh, you had to change it.

Personally I never managed to set tank on fire with molotov. Probably I’m doing something weird.

Aim behind the turret
Make sure the flame will remain on the hood

This :point_up_2:

If the tank is a slow heavy tank, Exppack is sufficient, but against a light tank, Molotov may be better.
If it is a medium tank, Molotov can destroy it, so if it is moving around too fast, or if there is a lot of infantry around and you cannot wait for the Exppack timer, throwing Molotov is a good move.

To me it looked “mg”.

You say that, but I remember someone posting video (either forum or Reddit) where a bot caught a molly mid-air and threw it back. Now, I know it was a freak accident, but it can happen.

I got a couple molotovs here and there. I got a couple of everything really, but of course mainly explosion packs. Really need to replace my WP nades…

That’s very interesting. That bot should enter the major leagues as a catcher.

Okay!

IT TOO!!!

After the nerf it seems to have become useless garbage. Is there any way to make effective use of it?

Well.
You neighbors used to spam them repeatedly so much, that everyone complained and as a result…

They got nerfed to the point of being useless.

A bit like the many exaggerated nerfs paras received because ppl can’t look up.

Those grenades should hurt. Or at the very least, I dunno, prevent soldiers from aiming while in the clouds, like when on fire (pretty much the same effect, white phosphorus BURNS skin…)

Doors and throwing them directly at people. Have fun with your assists

I’ve made my opinion known on how to make WP nades worth a flying flip

It was me, lol

Anyway i think that was a bug or something

Oh, I remembered this one, but there was the other, I think it was in Moscow, where Sovbot caught one that would fly past him. And knowing this one is on the forum, the one I mentioned must be somewhere on the Reddit.
