Maybe they will.
It will be pre-emptive anti-air. So peopel will spawn it to use it against infantry, but shoot planes if they see them. if only to protect their own frail, most liekly open top vehicle.

People will use them pretty much against infantry only, just like they will pretty much focus against tanks in war thunder(you will only really see less aircraft dominance when you start getting sams and radar). There is also the factor that it would take up a valuable tank slot for both in matches and in player line ups

It could be it’s seperate thing. 2tanks+1SPAA maybe. And even if that wasn’t the case, an SPAA could make do as much as a tank. Lots of quick firing guns and a fast turret could clear an objective real quick. As for lineups, i can see instances where I might want to take AA over a tank. Especially if the AA is added early on in the campaign.
And people will use them against aircraft if they see any. They have an aiming reticle so they could hit easily and they’d need to shoot down the aircraft, cause they’ll likely be the primary target for them.
As for warthunder, it seems you don’t use mid tier cas much. SPAA shoots playnes a lot. Especially wirblewinds.

And if you combine that with 2 aircraft you will get 50% of a team unable to cap a point so more reason not to add it without larger teams and larger maps

I disagree. The maps are fine for a vehicle like this. Why would you need a larger map for a mobile aa gun?

Well, yo udon’t always need all those spots occupied. But let me tell you, it’s much easier to cap alone or with one other teammate while supported by 5 vehicles than with 7 players if the enemy is supported by 5 vehicles.

Why are peopoe obsessed with anti air when AIR is near unplayable in Enlisted?

Half the team is well than enough to cap a point, specially if the other half of the team is bombing and shelling the enemy. Most times points get captured it’s because of one or two guys.

So it aint any different to current situation.

Great, please add wheels to the anti-aircraft gun too, Mr. Fox @1942786 please take a look at this suggestion.

And I guess each faction should use its own anti-aircraft guns, I’m not sure if there is an alternative to the German AA.

There used to be many hidden vehicles in the previous game training grounds, such as KV2 and anti-aircraft trucks with cannons and machine guns.

In the tiny playable area of most maps today, they are either fragile or too strong.

I used to suggest using the respawn score mechanic to better balance the different types of weapons and vehicles. Similar to War Thunder Respawn Score, or Soul Score in CRSED.

With the Respawn Score tool, developers can easily add a wider variety of vehicles to the game, whether fragile or powerful.

Without the proper mechanics, adding flimsy anti-aircraft trucks, few players will actually use them, as is the case with fighters without bombs today. The developer added this content, but the player couldn’t use it or didn’t want to use it.

simple fix to add them that i hope is also going to be soon
increase the size of the maps and open the server limits to 20 players so we can have larger battles

I really don’t get the argument that maps are too small for some vehicles. What would the map being bigger do to help it? There are already lightly-armored open-top afv’s in the game; and they work just fine.

The larger map allows better mobility of the vehicle, not just a static bunker.

Because the current playable area is too small, although the map itself is very large, each stage has a specific gray area. In most maps, vehicles cannot move on a single route, and there are too many obstacles on the map. Obstructs the maneuvering of the vehicle.

For example the M8 Scott, and the M10 Wolverine tank destroyer, to be honest these vehicles don’t work very well in the game, these open-top vehicles are supposed to be fire support or ambush from a long distance, but in the game Had to make a close charge, 100 meters away, and then killed the member. Although you have 4 or 5 members, almost every time you respawn, two or three die immediately

Maybe you will say that M10 is garbage and don’t use it. But tell me, if you were a developer would you be happy that the content you made was not available in the game and was just a meme trash in the eyes of players?
